Both sexes need to stop competing against each other but celebrate each other’s strengths, recognize similarities and crossovers, realize there are outliers and stop belittling the other group in order to assert dominance. Civilization is best served when we balance each other. Both sexes have the capacity to be good, kind, empathetic, intelligent, clever, brilliant, caring, vile, evil, and stupid. In this, they are truly equal.

You already knew it, water vapor plays a much bigger role than methane (and CO2) in the Earth's energy balance.
U wist het al, waterdamp speelt een veel grotere rol dan methaan (en CO2) in de energie balans van de aarde.

So there we have it. Probably the highest day ever in the BM at over £52 million The final number tends to be a bit higher than the trading figure reported by LCP This is what Connect & Manage has done... We spent £52 million because we had to throw away wind in Scotland that we built despite knowing we can't use it Plus NESO not curtailing it before the DA auction meaning instead of gas plant self dispatching it has to be bid on in the BM @Miatsf @mgshanks @AndrewBowie_MP @ClaireCoutinho @harrietc @ColinMoynihanUK @drlukeevans @ashley7fox @TiceRichard @cmackinlay @DavidGHFrost @mattwridley @Iromg @AllisonPearson @MerrynSW @EdConwaySky @afneil @mattotele @jonathan_leake @julietsamuel @energygovuk

Japan, this is seriously beyond horrifying… 😭💧 And we’re supposed to let 100,000 of them come here…? ⬛︎ Pakistani suspect Danish Muhammad allegedly threatened a teenage girl with a knife, told her, “I’ll get 400,000 yen if I kill you,” forced her to take drugs, and sexually assaulted her.

A clinic has opened to help the people harmed by this guy’s cult. He thinks it is “evil” to provide them help. The “trans” movement is only destructive, it has nothing to do with healing or helping anyone.
there's no understating how genuinely, unequivocally evil this is why put so much effort into hurting good people? you could simply mind your own business, it'd cost you nothing I'm tired so very, very tired is the right to exist really so much to ask?

This is the most corrupt administration in American history. Trump’s cronies are ripping the American people off while making themselves richer.

Liberal teachers in Baltimore County are PICKETING because classrooms are too crowded.. while pushing to keep illegal immigrant kids in them. Their own union asked the school board in January to keep ICE out of schools. Now they're complaining about being overworked. The county's non-English speakers jumped almost 10% this year to 13,375, so teachers are trying to teach kids who can't understand them. Who could've possibly seen this coming — this isn’t fair to the students who are US citizens.

Why won’t @MassGovernor allow the audit that 72% of us voted for. Because she is corrupt to the core and we all know it… she is by far the worst governor in Massachusetts history and it’s not even close… VOTE for @mikeminoguema and @MikeWalshforAG and let’s turn things around…
Governor Healey says it herself: “That money belongs to the taxpayers.” So why won’t she commit to voting YES on Question 5? Question 5 strengthens the existing limit on how fast state revenues can grow and makes taxpayer rebates more frequent and meaningful when Beacon Hill collects more than that limit allows. Massachusetts taxpayers are already dealing with one of the highest costs of living in the country. They deserve stable, meaningful tax relief. We want our money back. Vote YES on 5.

Maura Healey (D)... now Governor of Massachusetts... was Attorney General of Massachusetts, the state's top law enforcement officer from 2015 to 2023. In 2026, Alvin Campbell Jr., brother of Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell (D), was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of raping multiple women while posing as a rideshare driver. While he was raping, Boston police sat on the evidence. A WBUR investigation found reports from 2016, 2017, and 2018, including DNA, went unacted on for years until his 2020 arrest... right in the run-up to Healey and Campbell's campaign announcements for governor and AG. During that entire failure, his sister sat in Boston City Hall... a sitting Boston City Councilor from 2016 to 2022, and Council President from 2018 to 2020. And over them all sat Maura Healey (D). Years of rapes. Years of ignored evidence. With the suspect's sister holding city power and Healey holding statewide law-enforcement power. That is why so many are asking whether Andrea Campbell (D) used her official City Council position to interfere with or slow the investigation... questions the Democratic establishment in Massachusetts has still never fully answered. And Massachusetts is the only state in the country where all three branches of government exempt themselves from public record laws... so they never have to answer.

No to “Sunshine Protection”, the hidden mandate to wake in darkness all winter. We need to end clock change with permanent Standard Time!
Daylight saving time ends Sunday, and most of the U.S. will turn clocks back one hour. ⏰ But 19 states have already passed laws to make daylight saving time permanent. Those changes can't take effect unless federal law changes first. For now, most Americans will continue changing their clocks twice a year. What do you think?

The total normalisation of political violence by smiling progressive women.
At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered. I told her I’d pray for her. This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.

Only a Democrat would cause 11 in oil refineries to shut down with regulations then blame Trump for high gas prices. Only a Democrat would shut down the Keystone pipeline then blame Trump for high gas prices. Only a Democrat would convert working refineries into renewable diesel then act shocked when gasoline supply drops and prices go up. Only a Democrat would make it nearly impossible to build a new U.S. refinery for the last 50 years then call oil companies greedy when oil prices rise. Only a Democrat would cancel pipelines, slow walk new leases and cheer refinery closures then spew lies about corporate price gouging. Only a Democrat would celebrate killing American energy jobs then lecture you about the cost of living. Only a Democrat would rather import oil from countries that hate us like Russia, Iran and Valenzuela, than let Texas, Nevada and North Dakota produce more on US soil. Only a Democrat would stop off shore drilling then act shocked gas prices are go up. Only a Democrat would shut down pipelines across the country then tell you to buy an $80,000 EV you can’t afford.

Fraud in government contracting poses serious risks to taxpayers. Today, a contractor pleaded guilty to paying more than $465,000 in kickbacks to an employee of a prime contractor on U.S. Postal Service projects, as a reward for steering additional repair work to his company. The two inflated estimates and invoices to build in money for the kickbacks. The defendant faces up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. He also agreed to pay $465k in restitution to @USPS. @EDCAnews @JusticeATR @FBISacramento @OIGUSPS
Contractor Pleads Guilty to Paying Kickbacks Related to U.S. Postal Service Facilities Repair Contracts “Collusion that harms the U.S. Postal Service, and ultimately the American taxpayer, is illegal and will not be tolerated,” said @ASGWoodward. “This Department of Justice is committed to prosecuting those who would cheat the U.S. government out of fair prices to line their own pockets, and in this prosecution, we have done just that.” Read more: justice.gov/opa/pr/contracto…

NEW Why did a judge impose a community sentence on a 14-year-old boy who stabbed a girl ten times in a terrifying, premeditated attack? Footage shows him chasing her around a store in Cirencester, where he also stabbed a shopkeeper. Finally, after 5 weeks, I’ve been sent transcripts of the court proceedings. * It’s clear the judge’s priority was the boy’s “rehabilitation” & managing future risk. * The judge did not appear to consider the need for deterrence or punishment. * The judge was “deeply unhappy…astonished” the boy had been held in a secure children’s unit for 3 months after admitting guilt & released him on bail. * When bailed the boy did not return home until early hours when meant to be under curfew & so couldn’t be tagged straight away * A youth offending team officer expressed concerns about the eventual sentence - a referral order - because it doesn’t include tagging/curfew requirements * Court heard about boy’s interest in disturbing films, his unpredictability & how he “craved” custody All in all, what emerges is a far from satisfactory sentencing process, containing some rather flippant remarks from a judge who appeared determined to avoid imposing custody from the outset. The best government is one so small that it doesn’t matter who wins the election.
A reminder that an underrated argument for libertarianism is that you’d experience less anxiety about elections if the state had less power.

Jemele Hill called Nicki Minaj a “political prostitute” and said she’s being controlled. So let’s talk about who’s actually controlled. We give one party around 90% of our vote every single election, then complain that we have no political power.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Scientists are not bought with high salaries (although many academics make well north of $150K / year, far more than the meager $60K you think is so common). But they absolutely know what they have to say in order to keep their jobs. If you're a research scientist, it is absolutely critical that your work be published in “prestigious” academic journals like Nature, Science Advances, or PNAS and perceived by your peers as being important enough to contribute to the “body of knowledge” on a given subject. If your work is seen as being important, it will be cited. The more your work is cited by other scientists, the higher your H-index will be. The higher your H-index, the better your chances are of climbing the letter to success (e.g., academic tenure or being the director of university programs / centers). And the more you get published, the more the media will cover your newly published research. That opens the door to a lot of new opportunities including being asked to serve on governmental / intergovernmental panels and getting more funding for research projects. It also puts you on the shortlist for earning accolades from “prestigious” scientific organizations such as the American Geophysical Union (AGU). That is the entire apparatus of academia. There is a reason “publish or perish” is their slogan. However, research (e.g., field studies, modeling, etc.) requires a lot of money. Many journals also have fees for both submission and publication, and they are on the order of several thousand dollars. Some scientists even employ assistants who require a salary. Time is money. Labor isn't free. That's precisely why research scientists' and academics' pet projects are bankrolled by taxpayer-funded research grants, which are often awarded in the total of tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Every single year Congress appropriates a budget for research and development (R&D), and that money flows through agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF) to fund specific research agendas. Climate scientists' careers depend on Congress being convinced enough that “human-caused climate change” is a serious enough issue to justify having a large science budget. In other words, politicians with specific policy goals in mind are in charge of where R&D money goes for scientific research. Funding agencies like the NSF then grants with very specific guidelines that applicants must adhere to in order to be awarded grant money. For instance, a research grant might ask scientists to examine how greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions increase fire risk in California. If you instead propose to investigate how poor forest management policies (e.g., decades of fire suppression and lack of prescribed burning and mechanical thinning) increase fire risk, your proposal will be dismissed, and you'll be denied the grant. Even if by some miracle you get the grant, it's unlikely that your research will pass through the “peer review” process because peer reviewers and the editors of journals themselves are biased. “Peer reviewers” are usually academics, and their careers also depend on the continuation of Congressional funding. Worse yet, many of these “peer reviewers” don't want their own findings to be challenged. It is becoming increasingly difficult for new research to be accepted for publication in peer-reviewed journals that in any way runs counternarrative to the orthodoxy that mankind’s industrialization is causing an “existential climate crisis.” The government has deep pockets (deeper than any oil company) and to pretend O&G companies are the only ones with bias is an exercise for mental midgets.
Replying to @ChrisMartzWX
Sticking to government funding means these scientists get paid like, $60k a year. They could make triple that by running propaganda for oil and gas. I work for oil and gas, but what you’re saying is so very dumb. Embarrassingly stupid thinking and it’s pervasive in the right
