DID YOU KNOW: The Constitutional Square (aka City Square), is home to over 20 tree species and a habitat to over 6 bird species. Deriving its name from being the site where the 1995 Constitution was promulgated, the Constitutional Square is a heritage site, recognized under the Museums and Monuments Act, 2023. It houses the 1945 war memorial and is a protected site since 2007. #KCCAatWork has routinely maintained this green space by planting grass and flowers to enhance its aesthetic appeal. Paved walkways to improve accessibility and ease of movement even for PWDs have been constructed and bins installed for proper waste management. Two FREE public toilets are in place and installation of more benches is ongoing #ForALivableCtiy.
