๐Ÿšจ HISTORY IN THE MAKING. With AC Milan's 2-0 win over Udinese, Rรบben Amorim has equalled a 70-year-old club record. The Portuguese manager is now unbeaten in his first 8 Serie A matches, matching Hรฉctor Puricelli's achievement from 1955. Now, only one man stands above him. Luis Carniglia's legendary run of 13 unbeaten league games from 1963 is the final milestone left to conquer. Five more matches without defeat... and Amorim will write his name into AC Milan history. ๐Ÿ”ดโšซ

Gary Neville youโ€™re an absolute wanker. Prime pep couldnโ€™t get a tune out of this lot. Call your mate Jim out who got us into this mess further. The owners are parasites and donโ€™t have a clue.

Feel for Carrick big time, club legend and heโ€™s feeling it like us but itโ€™s time to go Iโ€™m afraid.

Last season Carrick's little tactics - you know, that simple man-management, keep it compact, let the boys express themselves - it was working because the chemistry was just flowing. Vibes were high, we had fewer games, everyone was getting proper rest. But this season is different, you can see it. Twice the games, Europe, injuries, no rest, and those same little tactics are getting exposed. Teams have figured us out, and we have no Plan B. The chemistry is gone because every three days is the same lineup, no rhythm. That's why we look tired and predictable now.
๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Senne Lammens on differences from last season to this: โ€œLast season I felt like playing-wise maybe we played better this season, but last season everything just clicked and went the right way for us. We struggled as a team together when they pressed us, but we didn't concede that many goals. We did really well, but you also know, I think everybody knew that we had to improve as well from that & that teams were going to change the way they played against us, so that's why we had to evolve this season. ย  I think we need a little bit more like last season, the way we fought together, even when it wasn't going the best, and just trying to fight as a team and defend as a team, I think that's probably something we need to try to get back to.โ€ #MUFC [@DanyalHKhan, Sky]

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ @lauriewhitwell: "You can question pre-season and the fitness work that was done in pre-season. There are people beyond the Tielemans interview with Rio Ferdinand that Iโ€™ve spoken to that suggested itโ€™s something that should be investigated and whether you can even get that back during the season." Donโ€™t blame him but Iโ€™d love him as our manager

The funniest part is that Amorim was trying to implement everything Como are now being praised for but you lot called him a fraud, mocked his system and threw a party when he got sacked.
Como is built on a clear, fundamental identity & targeted transfer strategy, that plays with intensity & purpose. Manchester United has no idea, no identity or strategy, playing with a clear lack of intensity & purpose. And it is plain to see after only 20 minutes.

Whatever foundations Ruben Amorim left behind, Michael Carrick has completely dismantled them. And the funniest part? That little purple patch last season had you lot convinced weโ€™d unearthed some tactical genius. Carrick inherited Amorimโ€™s hard work, enjoyed the results and got hailed as our saviour. Now the honeymoon is over, heโ€™s being exposed week after week. You lot celebrated Amorimโ€™s sacking just to end up watching this absolute dross. Never confuse a temporary run of form with a long-term footballing vision.

we're embarrassing. this team has severe coaching and conditioning issues. we've won two games out of eleven and our performances are dire. the scary thing is, we arguably get worse each week. you can see the clear difference in tactical and individual quality too. has to change.

These are the idiots running the club
๐Ÿšจ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ - Erik ten Hag says he offered INEOS advice to improve their data department but they DECLINED: "I offered my knowledge and abilities to INEOS to help them to construct, but they were of the opinion that they already knew EVERYTHING. Every manager will struggle with these fuckwits above them
Erik ten Hag knows what it is like to be in the eye of the storm at Manchester United. @LaurieWhitwell spent two evenings with the Dutchman in his hometown of Enschede, in the east of the Netherlands, to peel back the curtain on his two-and-a-half years at Old Trafford. In part one, Ten Hag talks about: โ–ช๏ธ The broken โ€œpromisesโ€ that led to his sacking โ–ช๏ธ Why he had to act on Cristiano Ronaldo, a player who โ€œlet the team downโ€ โ–ช๏ธ His desire to sign Harry Kane and Declan Rice โ–ช๏ธ The โ€œtoxic cultureโ€ and the "Madrid connection" that brought player power to the club ๐Ÿ”— nyti.ms/4z9cp9d
