I think a lot of us AO3 authors not only publish for people to read... We do so because we also want to meet more friends that connect with the art we make. It sounds banal to say we write for other people to hear us and talk to us, but I think a lot of us do.

Idk i just feel like when ao3 is back up I need everybody to be heaps more graceful towards fic writers because if two weeks without their works is painful then maybe we shouldn't be discoursing weekly about how much you think they suck at writing.

Pra entenderem a situação do Rio de Janeiro:
Nem vou entrar na questão da compra de votos que ocorreu no interior do Rio e nem nas ameaças de milicianos e traficantes para que a população votasse no Ruas.
A questão é que o TSE anulou o voto de várias pessoas por um erro do próprio TSE.
O TRE-RJ havia impedido Garotinho de participar das eleições. O TSE matou no peito e aprovou a sua participação. Terminado o 1º turno, ninguém atingiu 50% dos votos, mas Ruas esteve bem perto. Estavam indo pra segundo turno o Ruas e o Paes.
Então o mesmo TSE que aprovou a participação do Garotinho, atropelando uma resolução do TRE-RJ que impedia, resolveu impugnar a candidatura do Garotinho, anulando todos os votos que ele recebeu.
Com isso o Ruas passou dos 50% de votos válidos e foi declarado vencedor. Não houve segundo turno.
As pessoas que votaram no Garotinho foram enganadas pelo TSE. Tiveram seu direito de votar roubado pelo TSE. Elas tem que ter o direito de votar. Tem que ter segundo turno pois foi a vontade do povo antes da interferência do TSE pra ajudar um aliado bolsonarista.
