Get out and live life ... today
Dün Amerika’da düşen uçakta hayatını kaybeden kişilerden birisi Adam Robinson.
Mezun olunca Wall Street’e giriyor.
What the father did is admirable, his kids needed a boost to start life.
1. He could have given it as a gift to both of them... but later and not as a returned dowry but as ... a share of his wealth
2. She should have kept quiet about it .. it's not for the world to know

The Benin bronzes are in the British Museum.
More than 900 of them.
They were taken in 1897, when a British punitive expedition burned the royal palace of the Kingdom of Benin, a kingdom with which Britain had diplomatic and trade relations, and whose metalwork was among the most technically sophisticated on the planet.
Taken. As loot. During a raid.
They are still there.
The British Museum has had decades of requests for their return.
The responses have involved long conversations about legal frameworks and cultural heritage law and the logistics of preservation and the importance of these objects being seen by international audiences.
The objects have seen international audiences.
From inside Britain.
The argument is, essentially: we took these things, we built an institution around the taking, the institution now benefits from housing them, and their presence here proves their importance, which justifies our continued possession of them.
This is not a difficult argument to identify.
It is the colonial argument in miniature, running in the present tense.
The history was removed.
The evidence of the history was also removed.
Sometimes to museums.

In the foreground lie bronze plaques from the royal palace, amid the destruction left by the British punitive expedition. Thousands of royal and sacred artefacts were looted and dispersed into Western collections, including the British Museum. Before they became museum exhibits, they were spoils of colonial conquest. Ruto hasn't "captured" enough wealth to fight the dynasties, and he is running out of time, last election he won by a very slim margin over the Dynasties ... now the tables have turned the public has sympathy for the previous thieves and their wealth was not dismantled.
This Rwanda F1 thing makes you think ... maybe @alfredmutua wasn't so crazy all things considered... perhaps the problem is our collective inferiority trauma as Kenyans ... tunablock dreams

My fellow Kenyans,
I promised that going into the 2027 elections, I will make available information and data that you need to evaluate every single leader in this country.
From the president, every single Senator, MP, Woman Rep, Governor, and every single MCA.
It is a big job. But if you know anything about me, you know that I don't make commitments I cannot keep.
It is my small investment in my country. In a better future for all of us.
In the next two weeks, we will focus more Governors.
In this post, we cover @Baringo_county
I put in a lot of work into this. I ask only that you:
Read.
Re-read.
Download the poster.

The county's 45 MCAs together have taken 10% of the entire budget for themselves. Cheboi
In the first three years of Mr. Cheboi's administration, the county has spent KSH 22.3 billion.
This amount was designed to serve the county's 700,000 citizens.
In terms of healthcare, education, social services, development.
The county can only raise 2.7% of its budget, 10 years into devolution.
How was the KSH 22.3 billion spent?
50% of the money, KSH 11.0 billion, went to salaries alone.
To how many people? Less than 5000 people.
That is about 0.7% of the county population, taking 50% of the entire county budget to begin with.
Because the legal limit is 35% o salaries, the 50% spent by those in government on salaries, directly stole KSH 3.2 billion from citizens.
This is the reason for missing hospitals. Missing equipment and medicine at the hospitals. See second attachment.
Dilapidated roads.
The county's 45 MCAs, together have taken 10% of the entire budget for themselves.
So - let's take stock.
50% went to salaries.
10% went to MCAs.
40% remains.
From the remaining 40%:
KSH 1.2 billion went to wasteless travel. See third attachment.
"Leadership and integrity training in Arusha".
"Excellenece in public finance in Dubai".
"Peace and conflict resolution in Rwanda".
"Smart governance in Dubai".
Ladies and gentlemen, that is where KSH 1.2 billion in just three years went.
The county only devoted KSH 60 million on bursaries.
In three years. For all the kids in a county with 700,000 citizens.
In a county with a poverty rate of 47%.
Finally, the county only spent KSH 6 billion on "development". Less than required under the law.
And that includes all the corruption we know is taking place through corruption and inflated contracts.
So, after KSH 22 billion in just three years, and KSH 60 billion since devolution, today the county has a poverty rate of 47%.
You start by losing 50% of the entire budget to salaries for less than 1% of the population. In salaries alone.
When you add benefits, catering, county assembly, and other expenses, truly, not more than 20% or 25% is left to serve anyone.
We need prudence, purpose, and progress.
Please share and spread the message.

This is a public school in Texas.
My son attends it.
It costs me $0 annually.
After I pay my taxes.
A big fat, $0.
I challenge anyone to find me a better
The last school is my primary school.
Right here in Kiambu.
That picture is not from when I attended.
It is how it looks today.
These, ladies and gentlemen, are the results of choices. Of decisions.
The people making decisions are with public funds MATTER.
More than we like to admit.
This school in the last picture is the result of stolen and misused CDF funds. Of mis-used funds.
Millions of our children are paying the price for decades so that a few people can live out their wildest imaginations.
I want to stop this.
But I cannot do it alone.
Will you join me?
Prudence. Purpose. Progress.
