Rest in peace Sage
Sylvester Stallone reveals he found out his 36-year-old son Sage died in a cold, 10-second phone call from a stepfather he had never even met and says the guilt still haunts him. Sylvester Stallone: "You have so many episodes of guilt like, what could I have done? Should I have been there? I'll never forget how cold it was. My mother's new husband, whom I had never met, was a doctor. I get a phone call on Friday the 13th. He goes, 'Sly, it's Stephen... He's gone.' I said, 'Who's gone?' He goes, 'Sage, he's gone.' I asked, 'Gone where?' He said, 'He died. He's gone. I'm sorry.' Click." Lulu Garcia-Navarro: "That's how you found out?" Sylvester Stallone: "That's how. 'He's gone, dead, sorry.' ... About a week later, I was all alone in my room, and a wail came out of me that I've never heard before or since. There was just such pain and grief and guilt it was not human. It really wasn't... No, you don't get over that." How do you ever recover from a loss delivered that coldly?

Powers that be killed King
On March 27, 1997, Martin Luther King Jr.'s son walked into a prison hospital and shook hands with the man serving 99 years for killing his father. Then he asked one question. "Did you kill my father?" "No, no, I didn't." "I believe you," Dexter King said. "And my family believes you." James Earl Ray was an escaped convict. In 1968, King was shot on a motel balcony in Memphis, and two months later Ray was caught at London's Heathrow Airport. He pleaded guilty on his 41st birthday. Three days later, he took it back. In the video below, you see the meeting and what Dexter King said days later. He sounds calm, almost relieved. "I heard with my own ears, I saw with my own eyes." He says Ray never confessed. His lawyer made a deal behind his back. At 2:28, King's Pulitzer-winning biographer calls the handshake "sad and surreal." He says Ray was "probably the trigger man." Dexter King answers: "This man was set up." Ray never got a trial. He died in prison a year later. In 1999, a Memphis jury in a lawsuit by the King family found there had been a conspiracy. The Justice Department said it found no reliable evidence of one. Dexter King died in 2024, still believing someone else killed his father. Some people say the King family saw what the government never wanted investigated. Others say a grieving son shook hands with his father's killer. Did James Earl Ray kill Martin Luther King Jr.?

Love her miss her all she wanted was love and redemption
Chyna wasn’t asking for the world. She just wanted to make amends, reconcile, and put the past behind her. 💔 Why was that so hard for them to give her? Sometimes, the people who need forgiveness the most are the ones who never get the chance to receive it. @ChynaJoanLaurer
Amen 🙏🏿
DMX stopped to read the Bible with a fan who was going through a difficult time. Right there on a Los Angeles sidewalk. ❤️ In 2013, the woman met him outside Wi Jammin’ Caribbean Restaurant and told him she was struggling. DMX took out his own Bible and began reading passages to her, offering encouragement through his faith. The encounter was captured on video, with the two standing together over the open pages. His fans knew the prayers he included on his albums. That day, he shared that same faith with one person who needed support.

OTC had to get his lick back
Roman Reigns showed Bron Breakker that barking is easy, but standing tall against the Tribal Chief is a whole different story! ☝️🐺 One Spear from the Big Dog was all it took to silence the competition! 💥🔥

Original King 👑 of Comedy
Daddy Rich, played by the great Richard Pryor,  is a flamboyant, money-preaching televangelist, in the 1976 classic comedy Car Wash. Even though Pryor's appearance is a brief, high-energy cameo rather than a lead role, it became one of the most memorable parts of the film.

Eddie Murphy says a single encounter with Pauly Shore at the comedy club made him stop taking Percocet forever. “I turned 30, I smoked weed, and I had one time in my twenties where I went to the dentist and the dentist gave me a Percocet.” “I remember I was sitting at the dining room table and I said, 'I feel good.' And Fruity, who worked for me, was like, 'Yeah, that's them Percocet, man.' I was like, 'Really?' So I finished that prescription.” “You know what made me stop taking them? And he don't even know this story. I was at the Comedy Store, and I had taken a Percocet and smoked a joint.” “Pauly Shore came up to me, who owns the Comedy Store, comedian, and he was like, 'Hey, you don't even look like yourself tonight.' And I was like, 'Really? Who do I look like?' And he said, 'Some other dude.' Walked away, and I was like, 'Yeah, I ain't fucking with this no more.'”

Eddie Murphy recalled how Keenen Ivory Wayans ended up wearing his iconic red leather suit out to Studio 54 back when they were teenagers. “Keenan's like 6'4", with muscles, so the suit was busting off him. And I said, 'I dare you to go out with that suit on.'” “He was 'Frenchy' one night from 10:00 to 6:00 in the morning, and didn't come out of character... and at the end of the night the suit was destroyed.” “Girls would call the house to be like, 'Is Frenchy there?' He was like, 'I can't go out with her. She met me as Frenchy.'”

Ray did the best he could
Ray Charles had 12 children by 9 women. Before he died, he gave each one $500,000 and had his adult children sign away the rest. In the video below, 1972, Dick Cavett asks him what he would want to see if he could see for one day. His kids come first. The rest went to his foundation. One estimate puts it at about $75 million. In December 2002 he gathered his children for lunch in Los Angeles. 10 of the 12 came. He told them he was terminally ill and that each had a $500,000 trust, paid out over 5 years. The adults signed written waivers. The trust was their whole inheritance. The youngest, Ryan, was 15. Ray Charles died on June 10, 2004, at 73. Do the math. 12 trusts at $500,000 is $6 million. In 2012 the Ray Charles Foundation sued 7 of his children. They had tried to take back the copyrights to dozens of his songs, including "I Got a Woman." The foundation said they had signed that right away. It asked for up to $3.5 million. He gave his children a trust. He gave his charity the songs. Did Ray Charles do right by his 12 children, or did he cut them out of his music?

Preach Jesse
Jesse Ventura: “If Donald Trump woulda gone in the military, he woulda been the guy that wet his bed, cried for his mom, went hysterical, and would be carted out in the middle of the night. The man’s a coward. He’s a bully. All bullies are cowards. That’s why they’re bullies”

Scared the shit outta me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂awesome video Mike s deep voice fucked me up
30 years ago today, Michael Jackson’s “Ghosts” premiered. The supernatural short film doubled as the longest music video of its era. Directed by Stan Winston, co written by Stephen King and starring MJ in multiple roles including the Maestro and the Mayor of Normal Valley. It paired top tier choreography, practical effects and the songs “2 Bad,” “Is it Scary,” and “Ghosts.” A dark, playful follow up to the spirit of Thriller, it also carried the message about not fearing people who are different. Still under seen compared to its pedigree, it holds up as one of MJ’s most ambitious visual projects. Did it scare you⁉️👻💀
