Out of all these, Congress previously held only two MLC seats which it lost. 1 in Karnataka and 1 in Bihar. BJP has also lost 2 seats in UP and 1 seat in Bihar. And before saying Congress drew a black in all 28 seats, first check how many seats was it contesting. 8-10 maximum.
REALITY CHECK: 28 MLC seats, Congress wins ZERO — including the loss of a sitting member’s seat in Karnataka.
MLC elections are not a direct reflection of voter mood, but they do offer clues to regional power equations, party organisation and the local level challenges facing Congress. Zero wins across 28 seats is a result the party cannot afford to ignore.🙏

Meet Mr. Uday Kumar, a BJP member, who along with his family has been residing and voting in Bengaluru for years. Recently, he travelled to his native village in Nawada to cast his vote in Bihar as well. Uday Kumar and his wife had already voted in Bangalore North, and now he also voted in Nawada, Bihar. The family holds two EPIC IDs, one from Karnataka and another from Bihar. ( No proof of family voting in two states though)

A BJP booth level agent filed 5,359 Form 7 objections in Uttarakhand’s Kichha, mostly seeking the deletion of Muslim voters’ names.
