My god. Just came across this whilst reading the UN report, relating to a meeting held on 19 July: "Senior official testimony also indicated that in a meeting held the next day the Prime Minister herself told security force official to kill protestors to quell the protests and specifically demanded to "arrest the ringleaders of the protests, the troublemaker, kill them and hide their bodies." (para 117)

FACT CHECK: The disinformation published by the @Ateam, run apparently by Awami League activists, continues unabated. Statistics published by the Foundation for Human Rights Culture, suggest that the number of reported rapes in September/October totalled 113, not the number of 774 as claimed by the @ATeam_1971. In fact the Foundation for Human Rights Culture statistics show that the number of reported rapes in September/October was lower than the number reported May/June (when Awami League was in power) which totalled 128.
Everything that the A-team says must first be fact-checked before assuming there is any truth to it.
For Oct/Sept see here: msf.org.bd/press_release_178…
For May/June see here:

🚨 Alarming: 774 Rapes in Two Months, Rise in Abuse of Women and Children in Bangladesh.
The rising incidents of violence against women and children in Bangladesh, as highlighted by recent data, paint a concerning picture of the country's law and order situation under the illegal and unconstitutional @Yunus_Centre government. The reported cases of rape, abuse, and violence against both women and children reflect a broader issue of societal neglect and the inadequacy of legal systems in providing protection and justice.
Due to the fear among people, many incidents do not even lead to legal action. As a result, feminist organizations believe that the true extent of violence against women has not been accurately reflected. Various cases published in the media show that women who have been raped face multiple obstacles in the legal process.

Please note, this is apparent fabrication coming from Awami League supporting websites. All the media news reports state, with eye-witnesses, that the lawyer was killed by supporters of ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari.
"Citing eyewitnesses, Nazim Uddin Chowdhury, president of Chattogram District Bar Association, told The Daily Star, "During the clash, a group of Chinmoy supporters who were protesting on the court premises dragged Saiful to Rangam Convention Hall around 3:30pm and hacked him." Mohammad Didar, an employee of Golam Rasul Market, who along with some other locals rescued Saiful and took him to the hospital, told The Daily Star, "Some Chinmoy followers hacked the lawyer on the road next to Rangam Convention Hall."
