Blir vi kvitt Netanyahu i morgendagens valg? Ikke at det betyr særlig mye da de som eventuelt overtar står for mye av det samme. Men forhåpentligvis blir han stilt for retten og fengslet for resten av livet.

La chaîne 12 israélienne autorise désormais la publication d'une information selon laquelle le chef d'état-major Eyal Zamir a reçu un ordre direct de Netanyahou pour lancer une campagne militaire contre l'Iran, mais il a refusé de l'exécuter !
C'est un développement extrêmement dangereux, qui révèle une fracture profonde entre l'institution militaire et sécuritaire et la direction politique en Israël. Et peut-être pour la première fois dans son histoire, le désaccord atteint le point d'une rébellion ouverte du chef d'état-major contre les ordres directs du Premier ministre !
Et peut-être que la raison est que Zamir et la direction de l'armée sont arrivés à la conviction que Netanyahou veut lancer une guerre contre l'Iran pour servir ses intérêts électoraux, et non pour des considérations militaires ou sécuritaires.
C'est un coup dévastateur pour Netanyahou, qui pourrait créer une fissure sans précédent au sein des institutions de l'État israélien, et peut-être même annoncer un coup d'État militaire contre Netanyahou lui-même.
Je n'exagère pas ici. Ce qui se passe, si ces détails sont avérés, pourrait être l'une des crises les plus dangereuses entre l'armée et la direction politique depuis la fondation d'Israël.

Youth Progress Index 2025: Europe dominates. The Nordics lead. America’s famous exceptionalism finishes 33rd.
Another international ranking, another clean sweep for Europe, with the Nordic countries doing what they seem rather good at: building societies that actually work.
🇳🇴 Norway takes first place, followed by 🇩🇰 Denmark and 🇫🇮 Finland, with 🇮🇸 Iceland and 🇸🇪 Sweden also among the world’s leading performers.
Meanwhile, the United States, a country practically founded on the conviction that it is exceptional, finds itself in 33rd place. Behind countries including Slovenia, Estonia, Portugal, Lithuania and Cyprus.
And this is a particularly revealing ranking.
The Youth Progress Index 2025 examines what life is actually like for young people across 169 countries. Using 61 social and environmental indicators, it measures access to healthcare, education, housing, employment, personal safety, fundamental rights, political freedoms, social inclusion and opportunities to build a decent future. So pretty much the opposite of MAGA.
It measures outcomes, not patriotic speeches, military spending or the number of billionaires a country produces.
The findings are especially uncomfortable for America. The report identifies the United States as one of the countries experiencing the largest declines in youth progress, citing increasingly unaffordable housing, deteriorating mental health, weakened academic freedom and rising violence.
The lesson is rather straightforward. A country’s greatness is not measured by how often its politicians announce it.
It is measured by the opportunities and quality of life it provides for the next generation.
The Nordics appear to have understood this rather better than the people selling American exceptionalism.

Ukraine, not Russia, has held the initiative in key sectors of the frontline for much of the year. Ukrainian forces have decisively defeated the main Russian offensive intended to complete the seizure of Donetsk Oblast in 2026. Ukrainian forces operationally defeated the Russian northern pincer in the Lyman direction and defeated the Russian military command’s plan to conduct a wide encirclement of Ukraine’s Fortress Belt.
Ukraine’s Operation Vivaldi resulted in the liberation of around 277 square kilometers and 16 settlements north and northeast of Lyman over four phases that Ukrainian 3rd Army Corps Commander Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi began announcing in September 2026, although the operation likely began around March 2026.

Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.
As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.
In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.
In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.
We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.
