we’re building motion on Robinhood Chain, a full trading terminal for trenchers, taking a page from Robinhood’s playbook: 0% platform fees for regular traders, while most terminals charge 1% on every trade. instead, we’re betting on shipping fast, building a real community and word of mouth. Robinhood grew through waitlists and referrals do you think that playbook can still work in 2026? can a great product beat massive influencer budgets and grow without big names behind it? or is it still mostly about who raises the most?

i can clearly see how every product improvement turns into better metrics a few days ago i completely rebuilt the registration flow, and conversion nearly doubled we’ve already crossed $760k in trading volume. at the usual 1% fee, that’s $7.6k our users didn’t pay our team (yes, it’s a team now, we’re growing) is building and improving the terminal every day thank you for choosing motion and trading with us i’m also seriously thinking about revisiting parts of our manifesto, especially around token buybacks i see your messages, and we need to solve two things at once: • make token liquidity deeper • accumulate tokens in the team for future user rewards, liquidity, burns, etc. also this account will gradually become more official, as it should for a serious product i’ll keep sharing my thoughts and ideas and talking to you directly from my personal account @nick_cheff
