GCOS2026 Williamsburg、ありがとうございました！ 🇺🇸🇯🇵 10月5〜7日、米国バージニア州Williamsburgで開催されたGlobal Cardio-Oncology Summit（GCOS2026）に参加しました。 世界各国から集まった腫瘍循環器学の仲間たちと、最新の研究成果、臨床上の課題、そしてこれからの医療について議論する、大変有意義な3日間となりました。 先月のJOCS2026東京では、IC-OSからSusan Dent先生、Michael Fradley先生、Alexander Lyon先生をお迎えし、国際合同セッションを開催しました。 そして今回、Williamsburgでは、2027年10月22〜24日に東京で開催する、アジア太平洋地域初のGCOS2027をご紹介することができました。 GCOS2027大会長の小室一成先生、科学プログラムの準備を進める田尻和子先生をはじめ、日本から参加した多くの仲間たちと一緒に登壇できたことは、大きな喜びでした。 循環器と腫瘍・血液、多職種、次世代、そして国内外の連携。 GCOS2027は、日本だけの国際会議ではありません。アジア太平洋地域の多様な患者さん、医療制度、研究成果、そして若い世代の視点を世界につなぎ、腫瘍循環器学をさらに発展させる機会にしたいと願っています。 先人への敬意、仲間への感謝、次世代への希望。 これまでお世話になったすべての皆さまに、心から感謝申し上げます。 2027年、東京でお会いしましょう！ #GCOS2026 #GCOS2027 #JOCS2026 #CardioOncology #cardioonc

Thank you, GCOS2026 Williamsburg! 🇺🇸🇯🇵 What an inspiring three days of science, friendship, and international collaboration! My sincere gratitude to the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS), VCU Health, the organizing committee, speakers, participants, and the wonderful Social Media Ambassador team. Just one month ago, we welcomed Susan Dent, Michael Fradley, and Alexander Lyon to Tokyo for the IC-OS/JOCS Joint Session at JOCS2026. This week in Williamsburg, we continued our journey toward GCOS2027 Tokyo — the first Global Cardio-Oncology Summit in the Asia-Pacific region. It was a special pleasure to introduce our Japanese colleagues, including GCOS2027 President Professor Issei Komuro and Dr. Kazuko Tajiri, together with our growing team across disciplines, professions, and generations. A truly global cardio-oncology community must include the Asia-Pacific. We look forward to bringing together colleagues from around the world to share science, exchange ideas, strengthen friendships, and advance patient-centered cardio-oncology care.
