THREAD: Kenyon College is quietly at the forefront of union-busting amongst the higher-education community, spending thousands of dollars an hour to take away the rights of its undergraduate student workers with implications for undergraduate and graduate workers nationwide.

@Columbia REFUSED to voluntary recognize our union in an email sent early this morning. They want the decision to unionize to be made "through a democratic process." Was a supermajority of RAs (~75%) signing onto our union petition not democratic enough? Shame on Columbia.

Yesterday, February 11th, a group of GSH Fresh workers performed a walkout in response to the discriminatory firing of a lead organizer, and unwarned, unjustified disciplining of other union organizers and supporters.
