Miami’s favorite excuse just died
“Miami has capital but no engineers”
Griffin just dropped CMU Miami in Wynwood
3,500+ students. 900 faculty/staff. One of the country’s best CS/AI engines
If you’re waiting for Miami to get serious, you’re late
Huge
Today, Carnegie Mellon University and Ken Griffin, founder and CEO of Citadel and founder of Griffin Catalyst, announced a historic $3 billion gift to elevate Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh and launch Carnegie Mellon University Miami. #CMUMiami

I’m super late to this but Waymo is just on another level vs classic ride-sharing
I didn’t think I was going to be that wowed given that 90% of my driving is with FSD so I’m pretty used to it by now
But being the passenger feels different
It’s not talked about enough how self driving solves road rage. I literally couldn’t give a shit if someone cuts me off when I have FSD turned on (>95% of the time at this point)
I had totally underestimated the cost of tool coordination/juggling
Even when performing a specific task BUT having to be toggling through a bunch of tools is incredibly slow and almost demotivating
We’ve been wired to operate like that for so long that it really takes a minute to process that now everything’s possible from a terminal window (and much more)
Yeah, listen to X. Get Claude code pilled and start changing how you think/operate asap
nowadays it sucks that, when using chatgpt, i need to operate under the assumption that it is actually kind of dumb
I feel like when interviewing sales candidates, it's pretty simple -- are they doing heavy follow-ups yes/no

This sums it up perfectly. Had to share it with friends/family who don’t always see what it really takes.
Wanting work-life balance is OK.
Wanting to build a breakthrough startup is OK.
But you shouldn't expect both.
In 30+ years and knowing hundreds of founders, I've never met a single founder that built a breakthrough startup while maintaining work-life balance.
Any competitive human endeavor requires sacrifice to stand-out. Whether it's athletics, arts or entrepreneurship.
Raw talent is not enough. You have to toil.
100+ customers later, we finally built the landing page Tesote deserves -- excited to share what we've been working on. 🚀 Check it out at tesote dot com
¡Lanzamos nuestra nueva Página Web! 🚀 Una web que refleja lo que somos: +100 clientes y miles de horas ahorradas en finanzas. Si aún dependes de procesos manuales, es momento de automatizar con 👉 tesote.com
BofA updates its app.
The new version includes a Zelle update.
Expectations are high: “It’ll be easier to send Zelle now.”
…They add 5+ steps instead.
🤦♂️
Fintech is still in the early innings.
This feels like a Renaissance
Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations have been a policy failure.
They cost ~$213B annually, harm legitimate consumers (as we've seen with these de-banking stories), and only manage to stop ~0.2% of illicit activity according to the UN.
Sounds like a job for @DOGE
