The artistic accomplishment of WILDWOOD is undeniable. A testament to craftsmanship and imagination, jaw-dropping stop motion that may never be replicated again. I just wish the story met that level of achievement, often lacking the grandeur and ingenuity of the shell it occupies

My jaw was on the floor for the entire second half of WILDWOOD. A towering achievement of truly epic fantasy with levels of scale and sincerity I haven't seen in years. I can't think of a stop-motion movie since The Wrong Trousers where the action sequences were this phenomenal.
