🚨 UNPOPULAR OPINION: THE REMARRIED EMPRESS DESERVES A MUCH MORE VISUALLY CONVINCING CAST. AND THIS IS WHAT MY DREAM LIVE-ACTION CAST LOOKS LIKE. 😭🔥
Don't get me wrong, but when I look at these characters in the webtoon, I imagine an almost unreal level of beauty, elegance and striking visuals. The current casting doesn't quite capture that image for me.
So here's my recast:
👑 Lee Soo-hyuk as Heinrey: That man looks like he was literally designed to play a dangerously handsome prince. The eyes, the aura, the face. EVERYTHING.
👑 Seo Ye-ji as Navier: Cold, breathtaking, intimidating and effortlessly regal. She looks like an empress who doesn't need to raise her voice to command an entire empire.
💗 Go Youn-jung as Rashta: That doll-like, almost ethereal beauty is exactly how I picture Rashta. Sweet-looking enough to fool an entire palace.
⚔️ Kim Seon-Ho as Sovieshu: The aristocratic face, polished visuals and the kind of presence you'd expect from an emperor.
THIS is what these four characters would look like if they walked out of the webtoon and became real people.

That’s THE Shin Min-ah you’re talking about, you cannot be serious
The actress playing Navier looks far too old for the role. Plus, her overall aesthetic doesn't complement Henry's, who looks young and charming. I sense absolutely no chemistry between Navier and Henry. Terrible casting.

omg acting as if he didn't eat tf out of suzy in genie 😂😂
😭 SHIN MIN-AH REVEALS THAT KIM WOO-BIN HATES WATCHING HER FILM BED SCENES WITH OTHER MEN — AND HER RESPONSE IS HILARIOUS!
While discussing her intimate bed scene with Ju Ji-hoon in The Remarried Empress, Shin Min-ah was asked whether her husband, Kim Woo-bin, was comfortable with her filming such scenes.
Her answer?
"He hates it — which I love about him." 😭
She explained that Kim Woo-bin understands that she's an actress and that these scenes are part of her job, but that doesn't mean he enjoys watching them.
In fact, she revealed that he doesn't watch any romantic dramas that his wife stars in!
So basically, he understands the assignment as an actor, but he's still not interested in watching his wife get romantic with another man on screen. 😂
But while fans are laughing at Kim Woo-bin's reaction, Shin Min-ah has also been facing criticism from some viewers who question why a married woman would agree to film an intimate bed scene with another man.
And she's not the first Korean actress to face this kind of backlash.
Son Ye-jin experienced similar criticism after accepting a role in the erotic historical film The Scandal, with some people questioning why a married woman would take on such an intimate role.
It seems some viewers still struggle to separate an actress's on-screen performances from her personal marriage.
But should being married mean an actress has to turn down intimate roles? 👀
