This is the worst morning ever. No one in Gaza City slept last night. The rain completely flooded the tents, soaking mattresses and destroying families' belongings. We are underwater. Thousands of families have been trying for hours to save what little they have left, with nowhere dry to go.

Last night was one of the worst nights Gaza has seen. The bombs have never stopped raining down on them, and when the actual rain fell upon them, their tents flooded. So many missing limbs, all missing loved ones, most without homes. And the world just pretended it stopped. I didn’t even post an image with people this time because they’re sick of showing us images of themselves in desperation without action on our part. A reminder to you and me to not forget them because they’re no longer in your feed.

Palestinians follow and closely monitor elections everywhere around the world, while asking themselves: When will they finally be able to realize their dream of participating in elections—a right they have been denied for 21 years?

Most of the “rising antisemitism” narrative in Canada is based on stuff like this, btw!

Netanyahu is literally the perfect embodiment of Israel and Zionism, not an 'extremist' outlier and anyone portraying him as such as is either wholly ignorant or simply a Zionist who wants to cynically pin the blame solely on him to try and save Israel's reputation and standing.

So many conservative governments across Canada and people cannot understand why healthcare and education is fucked.
Ottawa needs to be careful, very careful.

Two years later he acknowledged he was wrong after mocking the Lebanese resistance and dismissing the Iranian support @asadabukhalil called him out at that time.
“I was wrong,” the preeminent Palestinian-American historian Rashid Khalidi told the Bad Hasbara podcast. “I probably misjudged things early on,” he said, revisiting his 2024 assessment that the strategic potential of Iran and the “Axis of Resistance,” and their ability to confront Israel, had been overstated. @mattlieb | @DanielBMate

Horrific. Israel has shut down the borders which carries an impending danger on millions of people stranded in the occupied territory. And it’s not making enough noise around the world.
The markets are completely empty of vegetables and fruit. There is danger ahead.

🚨 BREAKING: Half a million Palestinians in Gaza will lose monthly food assistance as funding shortages force major World Food Programme cuts ahead of winter, ABC News Australia reports. ➤ WFP is reducing its monthly reach from 1.6 million people to 1.1 million. Families receiving two food parcels will now get one, and flour bags will shrink. ➤ Daily hot meals have fallen from 250,000 to 150,000. Some families in hard-to-reach areas will receive meals every other day instead of daily. Cash assistance for 75,000 families is being cut by 40%. ➤ WFP’s Carl Skau said traditional donors, including the U.S. and Europe, have reduced funding. “It’s not because the needs are down … it’s only due to the lack of funding,” Skau told ABC. ➤ Around 1.4 million people face crisis-level hunger or worse, including 200,000 in emergency conditions. WFP says it urgently needs $450 million for six months of operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
