We need to make sure our talk matches our actions...I stay out of all the competitions. How can we be a team if we're always out to best our team mates? Teaching peace is complicated but it can be done.
And, what if educators and administrators were cooperative and collaborative, offering one another solidarity instead of competitiveness as well? Would there be a natural culture and climate of peace? @lcbteam415
I agree with so much in this article! The years I looped with my kiddos in 1st, then 2nd grade I saw the children make the most gains in both reading and math. Same routines for learning, I knew strengths/gaps = win:win
