Tonight’s lineups for Game 6 of the 1967 Stanley Cup Final:

Toe Blake will not name his starting goaltender for Game 6 until just before game time Tuesday night.

Stan Mikita took 3 major NHL awards: the Hart Trophy as MVP, Lady Byng for most gentlemanly, and Art Ross for winning the scoring race.

And of course, #Bruins Bobby Orr won the Calder Trophy in a landslide as the NHL’s best rookie.

#Leafs Dave Keon has outplayed #Canadiens Jean Beliveau so far in the series and is rated the key to a Toronto upset

Jim Pappin, who was almost traded to #Redwings for Floyd Smith earlier in the season (reports Dick Beddoes) now leads playoff scoring.

Punch Imlach called #Canadiens rookie goalie Rogatien Vachon a “Jr B goaltender” yesterday. Here’s how it came about:

#Leafs Larry Jefferey’s season is over. He had surgery on his right knee and will not play in the Stanley Cup final.

(1) #Blackhawks Stan Mikita is a very doubtful starter for Game 6 of the semi-final against #Leafs, according to coach Billy Reay

#Leafs possible callups: Wayne Carleton, Gerry Ehman, Dick Gamble, Ed Joyal, Andy Hebenton (pic), Kent Douglas, Jim McKenny, Duane Rupp

#blackhawks may have to open their series against the #Leafs without Bobby Hull, who is nursing a knee injury.

Toronto columnist Jim Coleman is alone in picking the #Leafs to upset the #blackhawks . Says Toronto’s goaltending will be the difference

In preparation for next week’s Stanley Cup playoff Punch Imlach plans to take his #Leafs into seclusion at an undisclosed location.

Here’s Cournoyer throwing a pass in front of the #Leafs goalie Terry Sawchuk as Bob Baun moves in.
