will they take this impersonation and scam attempt seriously? I don’t know, but if they do then I could’ve just saved someone a lot of trouble

scammer reached out to me on @telegram using a 1:1 matching X username of @BornsteinMatt (@a16z GP) asking about my work, ambassadorship and continuing the blah blah for a few days
next they proposed working together on a project and as part of the onboarding they asked me to download github.com/TriliumNext/trili… which is a legit PKM software, but they were very specific about the v0.103.0 explaining that this is the version their server is running
in reality this version contains unpatched electron security issues and would allow them to execute the scripts embedded in the notes directly on my computer (more details in the attached image)
the domain hosting the vault that they used is workgroup.llc
