What is the oldest political news story you can remember? For me it's Joe Biden being selected as Obama's VP.

Jaylen Brown hopped on instagram after an awesome comeback with his new team to throw shade at his Hall of Fame teammate of a decade who consistently sacrificed for the greater good. I am glad he no longer wears green

Still can't believe the Celtics traded Jaylen Brown to a divisional rival like that.

There is a certain type of parasocial behavior toward this class of internet culture thinker that I similarly have a really hard time relating to and generally find to be broadly anti social and weird. But there’s also a second kind that involves treating these personas ie Sean fennesey, Theo Vonn, brace beldan, whoever AS a cultural object. @default_friend has written thoughtfully about this. To me This means analyzing their actions, decisions, relationships way more than any person should reasonably do to another person. And I think a lot of media dont not want to engage in this kind of persona analysis because theyre worried about seeming weird. Its fine line to balance!
The craziest thing about everything going on at The Ringer is the absoltuely insane parasocial relationship people continue to have with podcasters, some of you people are fucking nuts, man
