If there's any meaningful discourse from this one it's the fact that we're carrying 2 empty roster spots essentially with the Hukporti injury and we're not only wasting a 2 way spot on a meme player, but a meme player who is injured. Like I don't think there's anything really to talk about with this one besides that, but it's a silly use of a roster spot

No VJ/Embiid and you largely played a fellow East playoff team even on the back leg of a B2B after a 15-1 start. Good to get a loss out of the way before the Cup as well, I thought going into the Cup undefeated last year hurt them. We're good.

They might just not have any legs tonight but this should be like 40-15 right now, this is winnable

This could have significant Cup implications. Raptors/Magic on Friday, if Kawhi is out that could easily decide the Group A winner
Kawhi Leonard is out tonight for the Toronto Raptors with left knee swelling.

Unrelated but every time the camera cuts away from Jaylen I'm like "ok surely he's got enough butter on there now" and then 3 seconds later it cuts back to Jaylen continuing to butter his popcorn
Off night = movie night 🍿🎬 @Dwhite921 confirmed afterwards that @FCHWPO is a yapper during movies 🤣

You've gotta play it safe here with the Cup starting on Friday
Sixers say VJ Edgecombe is now QUESTIONABLE tonight vs. Detroit. Abdominal contusion.

Yeah I'm sure you have the same reaction if any other player says this
Good, glad he said it. You’re lucky enough to watch one of the 15 best players of all-time, first home game of the year, booing is loser behaviour. Have some faith or get the hell out is a pretty fair statement imo.

I completely missed this but I’m glad Jaylen Brown doesn’t have to be put into civil wars by his own fans and can feel appreciated.
The crowd is singing happy birthday to Jaylen Brown while he is shooting free throws.

Nikola Jokic on the fans that booed at Ball Arena: “I’m glad you brought that up…if you ask me, they’re not welcome back” Also mentioned that the Nuggets do this all time and fans should know Denver always has a chance.

This will barely be a blip on the radar probably but genuinely if any other superstar level guy says anything close to this it takes them years to live it down

LeBron's answer to Sixers fans booing: “It was everything that I dreamed of and more. We got the boos. That was amazing. We deserved it. And then we had the cheers, and almost blew the roof off this thing tonight, in a good way. It was a hell of a night.”
Nikola Jokic WENT OFF on Nuggets fans that were booing 😳 “They are not welcome anymore.” "First home game, and I think those fans that boo us, they don't need to come anymore." "If you guys follow us, you know that we never quit."

Brutal for the Rays but a necessary moment to get the automated check swing system in place ASAP

Jaylen Brown in response to Jayson Tatum’s comments: “There’s no beef, but there’s lamb chop and gravy.” Emphasized that Tatum is a great person and player and has a great PR team.

Jokic had a great career, a truly historic 5-7 year run. We respect him. We don't have to pile on.
Triple-doubles this season Joel Embiid: 1 Nikola Jokic: 0
