A few nights before my first child was born, we let our dog out around 3am to pee (we thought; she was going crazy). She was promptly sprayed by a skunk, so @evanm and I washed her down with anti-stink shampoo on our driveway with me in my nightie and suuuuper preggo belly

I say this with so much love, but nothing says “Mama was on a work trip” like realizing that the kids have been wearing diaper cream as sunscreen all week

Currently living this reality - So tired, dealing with stressful job, using any "extra" moments during the day to pump.🧟‍♀️ Paid leave until you can sleep-train, please!!
The most GENEROUS paid parental leave ends at 3 months. At 4 months old, human babies go through a developmental stage called "The 4 Month Sleep Regression," which means they are awake all night. America is built for primary caregivers to fail. Please read this screaming.

I’m def not the first (or last) person to tweet this, but it is infuriating that mask mandates are ending while my husband (3x vaxxed and willing to wear an N95) can’t come to our final prenatal appointments.

This hits close to home - parents need to be extra careful to protect kids and their communities. We’re going on a possible 2nd week of daycare closure due to one Covid+ toddler spreading it to multiple staff and students.
Replying to @sm
1/ Let me come out and say it - it’s time for parents of unvaccinated kids to reduce risk for the sake of keeping kids in school. Just because something was safe before does not make it safe now. Delta is a NEW BEAST and…
