“Amplifying forms of informal and formal organizing the workplace, amplifying and circulating struggles and informal practices of time theft or insubordination, all those things can only be understood from the perspective of the workers themselves." On the @librarypunk pod.

We learn the beautiful lessons of the Disney corporation: it's not a big deal to beat up your girlfriend if she's being crazy, gay people do not have sex, and drones are very cool!

people often post this stuff to imply that moral panics about the technologies of the past were quaint. But the past is full of reminders that we are on a long, slow march away from embodied experience, and that we’ve lost more of it than we can even remember

Death can be in the service of life. We all know it, we struggle with it, we practice it when it suits us
"Death to the IDF" is a slogan promoting peace, just as "Death to the Wehrmacht" would have been 80 years ago.
In broad political terms, it means dismantling an army of occupation which is literally perpetrating genocide and ethnic cleansing as we speak.
Taken at its most literal, it simply reflects an unfortunate reality in which, given Israel's consistent refusal to engage in meaningful negotiations and its apparent commitment to "completing the job" via mass murder and population transfer, the most realistic path to peace in Gaza is via successful attacks on the occupying army.
