See you later, Da. You were the best father I could ever have hoped for, and I will miss you for the rest of my days. I love you.
Went to see my dad twice yesterday. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and finally finished my eulogy. In the afternoon we noticed a piece of paper sticking out of his shirt. It was a betting slip. Tony - his childhood friend he was in racing syndicates in with for….
Behaving like Everton is some way to try and prove this particular point. Holy shit!
Sadly, Howe is the perfect fit. He will scream in the faces of the bums who currently play for United until they comply or quit. He might not win anything, but he will course correct their utterly rotten culture.
Forget Howe, Nagelsmann and the same infernal failure loop. Manchester United's predicament requires a manager with clout, class, gravitas - and that's Carlo Ancelotti, the Godfather of management #mufc dailymail.com/sport/football…
I’d completely forgotten about this, haven’t seen it for years. I was there that night, sat next to my dad in the Paddock. Lost my dad just last week.
On this day in 1999, Titi Camara scored the winner for #LFC against West Ham at Anfield
The Guinean revealed that his father had died that day, but with Owen and Fowler injured, Camara didn't want to let his team down 😢
❤️ @TitiCamara22 #YNWA
He’s just a deeply weird man.
🔴⚪️ Mikel Arteta: “On my first day as new Arsenal manager, I had demolished the office”.
“I just destroyed the office and put everything on the floor — the computers, the laptops, the cables. Then I brought everybody in”, told @TheAthleticFC.
“I said: ‘If you want me to help you enjoy your profession and your life and the passion that we all share, you have two minutes to put this in order and be ready to work together.’”
“That could have been my managerial career because if that would have stayed the same way, I had no job anymore!”.
I first saw these (or as damning) emails *at least* five years ago. If this was #LFC there would have been open revolt in Anfield immediately after the leak and until action was taken. #MCFC fans can get in the bin with their performative 'shock' and 'disappointment'.
City must still owe him some money.
I want every single @ManCity fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
Let me be clear: we will get through this together.
I love you all 🩵
Is the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence in the room with us now, @ManCity ?
City very strong in response: The Club is innocent of the accusations made by the Premier League and a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists in support of all of its positions, relating to this case. The Club will therefore be relentless, and where necessary proactive, in any and all appropriate regulatory and legal forums.
I am frankly delighted with City being found guilty. Beyond obvious that they've been cheating for years, but I didn't have much faith in the process. Send them to the National League and strip their titles.
I cannot get over how dumb these people are. The boat was already going to be destroyed once taken ashore. Filming this does nothing beyond guaranteeing a conviction and propping up yet another crowdfunder because his supporters are as dumb as he is.
Caroline Knapp-Shappey was Stephanie Cole's finest role. It's not even close. RIP: youtube.com/watch?v=iHxXyKyh…
