Credentials continue to be the target of just about every attack in 2026.

π»,π½π·πΎ malicious commits to π»,π»πΌπ· GitHub repositories in a six-hour window.
Using throwaway accounts and forged author identities (build-bot, auto-ci, ci-bot, pipeline-bot), the attacker injected πΆπππ·ππ π°ππππππ workflows containing πππππΌπΊ-πππππππ bash payloads that exfiltrate:

I'm excited to share the early access release of my upcoming book, Regenerative Software, which will be released in full early next year by O'Reilly, one of my all time favorite tech publishers! As a self-taught developer, I learned a lot of what was foundational to my career from early O'Reilly books on UNIX, Perl, sed, awk, etc. Thrilled to finally have one of these animal covers with my name on it. Jev by @typesafeai is now on the Venice API, in beta.
It answers, it doesn't write. Send it your app's state and typed questions. Get back a typed answer your code can branch on: a probability, a chosen option, or a score on your rubric. No JSON to coax out of a chat model.
Give your agent an imagination.

Two Anthropic employees said this afternoon that unidentified biological material had escaped containment at the companyβs Bay Area wet lab. The employees described the material as βliving organisms.β Its nature and the extent of the breach remain unclear.
I grow more convinced every day that the frontier labβs fear mongering is just a prelude to the next chapter. Cyber didnβt scare us sufficiently so bio is next.
Weβll go from agents escaped the cyber sandbox to biological agents escaping into meatspace any day now.
