Two foldables in one week.
Last week: MealPrep AI on the new iPhone Duo.
This week: Galaxy Z Fold.
Open it and cook mode goes side by side: the step on one half, what it uses on the other.
Stand it half open on the counter and the step faces you.
Two Android lessons from the Fold:
1. Target Android 16 and your portrait lock is ignored on screens 600dp+ wide.
2. A density change restarts the Activity. In React Native that's a full reload: our onboarding jumped back to page 1. Adding density to configChanges fixed it.
Side project for my own love of training: GymTag.
Think HORSE, but for workouts. Tag a friend with a workout, they match it on video or take a letter.
It syncs heart rate from your watch, so there's no lying about what you did.
Think @marclou's TrustMRR, but for training (;
MealPrep AI is still my main focus. I just really like this one.
