Resharing my opinion.
Who says they have to discuss feelings as the OP says.
Brotherhood is serving God and achieving his Will. As a people we must move forward and in a world of prosperity we don’t have to move back to a hard physical world to find meaning.
We have a greater spiritual challenge and must not shrink from it. This challenge doesn’t exist outside of us, it is within us.

As long as there’s something important left undone, anything boring automatically becomes fun.

As a classical musician, I’ve wondered about “orchestral EDM” for a while. Neat to see this.

This is absolutely true. Nothing bonds men like working and training together. Can vouch from personal experience.
A note to churches, this means your men's ministry needs to primarily revolve around coordinating service projects etc, and maybe a few Bible studies.

"if you like it black, I think you're lying"
This is my husband's attitude about sushi. Like he really thinks the whole nation of Japan is just trying to look cool 😂

If you’re right wing and you can’t admit liberals (not communists) are way better at art and design and boutique coffee shops and restaurants, you’re not living in reality.
If you’re left wing and you can’t admit conservatives are way better at running cities and businesses and police departments, you’re not living in reality.
You step inside a beautiful coffee shop in the PNW and think “man, these liberals are great at this stuff…conservatives should take notes.” Then the moment you step outside and trip over a homeless drug zombie shooting up fentanyl on the sidewalk, you think “man these liberals are terrible at this stuff…they should really take notes from conservatives”
Communists make disgusting anti-beauty art, but classical liberals aren’t like that. Put the libs in charge of the coffee shops, put the conservatives in charge of city hall. This is how you get a city that is beautiful, clean, and functional.
If you can’t accept that, you need to check your tribalism. We are never getting rid of each other, so figure out how we strike a balance or else the communists swoop in and take everything from us while we quarrel over stupid bullshit…which is exactly what’s happening now.

Young men, this message is for you.
You are inheriting a difficult world. The economy is stacked against you, institutions increasingly treat you as the problem, and it is easy to become cynical and discouraged.
But God has not made a mistake in creating you. You CAN build, lead, cultivate, and leave something better for the next generation.

There is a religious left. But there is not a Christian left.
Let the reader understand.

The conservatives who said:
1) The war in Iran is catastrophically stupid
2) Affordability is a real problem
3) America First
Were exactly right on every point.

Clearly not a good night for Republicans. Quick thoughts:
1. It was Trump. Tariffs and Iran seem most relevant to me.
2. I regret nothing. It was understood that there was a cost to Trump. The cost of Hillary would have been MUCH greater.
3. Trump was useful in exposing and stopping leftism. I'm thankful he did that, but he had neither the temperment nor worldview to create a vision of what we should aspire to as a nation. But someone has to.
4. This was a rebuke of Trump, not an endorsement of leftism. But, as with Biden, the people running the Ds will interpret this to mean that America really does want taxpayer funded sex change for prisoners and they will be wrong.
5. There is no chance Ds use this opportunity well. Their worldview is incapable of constructing something helpful. So the country will be ready for someone hopeful and aspirational who isn't a socialist. Rubio and DeSantis seem the most likely candidates to me.

Proverbs says, “can you scoop hot coals into your lap and not burn yourself?”… or “can you hold an open flame to your chest and not catch on fire?”… in other words, it’s so unwise and so foolish that it will inevitably lead to sin. My two cents

Here’s my general midterms prediction.
There is no “Blue Wave” coming
As I see it, Republicans will likely lose the House on slim margins, and keep the Senate on slim margins.
This won’t change much.
This will be a bog standard result for a midterm election after one party has held the White House and both branches of Congress for two years
It won’t be a repudiation of Trump, nor of his immigration agenda, nor his culture war against woke & transgenderism, etc.
Its not the end of MAGA or America First
And no amount of wish-casting from Never Trumpers, NeoCons, or groypers will make it so (funny how those camps all want the same thing)
The main thing it will reveal is frustration with the Iran War and the economy (which are connected)
On the positive side, Republicans are getting a massive upgrade by getting RINOs like Cornyn and Tillis out of the Senate.
Democrats simply cannot leave woke behind. They are the party of open borders, illegals, criminals, degenerates, and insane socialists.
The midterms will be more of a reflection on the continued metamorphosis of the Right (Populist-nationalists vs globalist neocons as embodied in the disagreement over the Iran War) and future control of the Republican Party than it will be a referendum on Republicans vs Democrats
And should it go this way, the main takeaway is obvious:
It’s time to utterly purge the last vestiges of the war hawks, the Pence/NRO style Republicans, the pro-amnesty types, the “never really supported Trump types”
And give control of the Republican Party to the America First team and their winning agenda of mass deportations, no new wars, and economic populism that benefits and prioritizes American citizens and American dynamism over globalist corporations and cheap foreign labor
