These are not administrative or technical errors, rather scandalous examples of malafide and deliberate deprivation of the right to vote. 1. SUMP protests in Arunachal Pradesh is borne out of fear: fear of losing your land, identity, history & future, all legit. This particular project literally displaces the entirety of the Adi heartland. The Siang river (or Brahmaputra) is Ane Siang to the Adi tribe, meaning the mother river. The Siang valley is amongst the most productive regions of Central AP. Almost all the Adi villages are located on either side of the Siang river.
Damming of the Siang means death knell for the Adis!
2. Do you even know why the Khasi - Jaintia are protesting against Uranium mining in Meghalaya? You guys have already ruined Jaduguda region. The residents there suffer from respiratory diseases, congenital disabilities and what not! You want to replicate the same in Meghalaya?

Uranium Mining has been practically banned in Meghalaya
The situation in Manipur is well known
Mizoram has been flagrantly opposing Indian Government's efforts to deport illegal immigrants from Myanmar
These states will intentionally engage in policies that harm its own people and keep them poor
And then go around blaming the Indian Government for "neglecting" people from North East
You can't have your cake and eat it too
