this issue with France is they want keep taxing and keep taxing to compensate a failing system More tax on daily stuff More tax on entrepreneurs More tax on everything Many things have seen their price x2 in ten years while salary didn’t evolve much more and more poor people and less purchase power The system is failing they should rethink the whole system to make it profitable if nothing changes (6th republic?) our country is doomed
Yesterday France announced tax of €0.055 per GB on internet traffic Today Germany is considering taxing all AI-generated revenue You will see European countries keep clawing more and more money from foreign companies as they are slowly running out of money themselves to pay for their pensions and welfare state Add to this the planned wealth taxes and exit taxes on any European who will try to leave (already active in many EU countries) Europe is running out of money

Cons: - fingerprints - sauces and other kind of fluids on the screen - drains battery - useless af Pros: ???
We’re glowing with excitement over the new MacBook Pro. You’ve gotta touch it to believe it.

how Claude code sessions talk to each other their server is the relay, using inbox approach > ListAgents: see every session running (laptop, server, cloud) > SendMessage(to, text): drop a message in its mailbox good for orchestration with separation of concerns

or the opposite go opensource
My advice to startups and content creators - Don’t be reverse engineerable.

first gaming “frontier lab” to actually acknowledge how ai could impact it // and willing to take it further good to see ngl
Today we're standing up XBOX LABS (labs.xbox.com). Here is the note that I sent to the team: Team, The first video games emerged some 75 years ago. In the time since, there have been booms and busts, but every year there are more great games to play, more devices to play them, and best of all, more people than ever playing. That growth helped make XBOX what it is today, and we've helped shape the industry in return, from bringing hard drives to consoles and online gaming through Xbox Live to Game Pass and cloud gaming, alongside franchises that have brought millions of people together. In recent weeks, we've seen games rapidly decompiled and rebuilt to run on hardware they were never originally designed to support. Windows PC builds have been translated to run on Apple Silicon or ported to run inside a browser through WebAssembly and WebGPU, the latter now approaching 90% global browser support. Perhaps more surprisingly, we've seen many of the biggest games in the world have been remixed into the source code of another. These experiments challenge long-held assumptions about our industry: the tether between software and hardware, the boundary between creation and play, and how people discover and experience games. While it is hard to predict the future of gaming, it is easy to see the possibilities in making great games easier to access, giving old games new life and allowing more players to become creators and co-creators. These are unmistakably good outcomes for players, even when (and sometimes because) they challenge our existing business models. To explore these possibilities, I’ve asked Scott to stand-up XBOX LABS, a small group of game makers, engineers and scientists whose job is to turn emerging ideas into things our players and developers can experience. We'll build in the open, learn from what people do, and measure success by whether more people are playing and creating. I think XBOX has an important role to play here. Coding became the first major workload for agents because they can write, run, and test software. Games share many of those same properties, and people spend more than 72 billion hours a year playing XBOX games, roughly five times the estimated time spent writing code worldwide. We've spent 25 years learning how to make great games, and I want our game makers to help shape what these new technologies make possible. As we learn, we’ll share the tools we build with developers across the industry, just as we always have. Our priorities aren't changing. We remain committed to the 4Cs, to making great games, to our hardware and to being responsible stewards of IP and the communities built around it. LABS gives us a way to explore new technology that is game design led without abandoning the work already underway. Asha

if not fully cloud yet, there’s also Amphetamine (free, macOS) apps.apple.com/fr/app/amphet…
close your macbook and let your agents keep working. introducing insomnia: caffeinate for the agentic era. keeps your agents running with the lid closed, pauses unnecessary apps, and hops onto your phone’s hotspot when you leave wi-fi open source, link below!

this is the half empty glass half full: curiosity -> more knowledge -> more creativity and ideation
I see more and more people going super low level. native code, server baremetal. Email server homemade Yes is cheaper. Do it’s good idea ? Mostly not. You were not paying because you don’t know. But to delegate responsibility. Do you think Rich people take 100% responsibility of all ? This is a move of poor people with no understanding on what money is for. Don’t be cheap, the more you take on your plate the less you will do good. And for some critical part this mistake could cost your business

Claude: “that’s like 3-4 weeks of work” reality: 4h LLMs corpus are fed with human-time estimation but now the fact is: 1 week of human-coding = ~1 hour of ai agent-coding and it might shrink even more

soon ai will consider “handcrafted code” as human slop
honestly, most code before ai was also slop

why this need of centralising all META accounts > someone tried to hack my Facebook (lmao) > WhatsApp tells me I violate WhatsApp age requirement (lmao x2) > need to confirm age on Facebook (wtf) > Facebook account disabled, can’t confirm age (lmao + wtf?) thanks meta

EU starts to be back in the game, good to see inference price is not competitive with alternatives like DeepSeek v4.1 flash yet, but step by step as we say - AND first real EU OSS alternative Rooting for you guys !! <3
Meet Mistral Large 4, aka Le Chonk. • 1T parameters, natively multimodal. 49B active. It is the best open weights model from US or Europe on aggregated benchmarks. • State-of-the-art on critical workloads, including cyber defense, manufacturing and finance and it surpasses closed frontier models on visual grounding. • Forged in Europe end-to-end and is deployable from Europe via our own Mistral Cloud infrastructure. • Available to all via API today. Working with cybersecurity partners privately. Open weights release end of October.

caught myself prioritizing my todo list by which tasks are worth burning tokens on “what should i spend my tokens on” is the new “what should i spend my time on” tokens == time, prepaid

OpenAI had “Jev like” api for a while: their moderation api LLM have always been good at scoring through json jev made it mainstream
OpenAI just launched the Decisions API using Luna. Jev killer?

MCP is like an API always up to date One of these will win: - api becomes MCP and CLI - CLI and MCP are just abstractions for api, and f*ck them - something new emerges and makes all simpler

spaceXai trolling max power lmao
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO WAY. > OpenAI just announced Dots. > SpaceXAI bought Dot.com it redirects straight to the Grok Bot download page. based lmao.

ai is a mirror of yourself btw shit in = shit out
I hate to break it to everyone, but Opus 5.5 has been nerfed starting the last few hours today. Autistic Claude speak is back, it's doing really dumb shit & this is not the same model I was using the last 2 days. Confirmed this on multiple accounts, it's turned into an idiot.

rails + intertiaJS + react is goated most underrated stack rn 20y of conventions in LLMs corpus training easy deploy on vps with kamal native handling of jobs (SolidQueue) for async AI calls … llms are really good at rails, with react it gives the best of both worlds
Guard-rails. It’s staring us in the face and I love that people are finally starting to put it together that this is our moment. Keep your eyes on the ball, everyone! #railsworld

remember 20y ago when 1 mbps felt fast? now we got 2 gbps+, 1 mbps feel slow af I’m feeling the same will happen with ai we are somewhat satisfied with the current inference speed imagine in 10y what it’ll be like

cache read price is extremely important, as every turn the whole conversation is sent to the api say 500k Tokens context each turn costs $0.10 vs $0.30 60% reduction also Output 20% cheaper Input 20% cheaper
anthropic literally thinks all their users are stupid and will try to put in misleading information in literally every single announcement. where's "40% less" coming from?
