if your work is mostly following instructions, whoever writes those instructions can now just hand them to an agent.
I'm starting to sense a divide in the tech industry:
- People thriving on autonomy who are reinventing how they work and what tools they use with AI: LOTS of work, but they're enjoying it and getting very efficient
- People used to being mentored / trained / or simply told what to do and how. Frustrated with the lack of guidance from management on what to do with AI; also frustrated by seeing some of their peers thriving; increasingly bitter about AI and the state of the industry, as a whole
Neither group seems to be aware that there's another group, or have empathy for the other group

We are living the prequel to the Hyperion Cantos series.
Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

En Michoacán hay una fosa donde estarían los restos de cientos de niños de entre 1 y 6 años. La evidencia: mil 600 dientitos de leche hallados por peritos de @FGRMexico y el colectivo Buscando Cuerpos en Todo México.
