Quick reminder: Tomorrow is the last day to get your name into the LCOS 1.0 About Window.
And that's a *hard* deadline. LCOS 1.0 ships on Sunday.
My recommendation? Don't put this off until tomorrow. Do it today so it doesn't slip through the cracks.

If this is what has employees at Proton in revolt, they're in for a rough ride as the age of agents unfold. There is nothing scandalous in this memo. It's hilarious that 404 is treating it as such.

Backend data that feels local: typed collections, live queries, and edits that show up instantly, then sync.
Start with your REST API. Add persistence, offline writes, and real-time sync later. Your queries stay the same.

In December 2016, a special French court convicted International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Christine Lagarde of criminal negligence for her handling of a 2008 financial dispute during her previous tenure as France's finance minister. The court ruled that Lagarde acted negligently by failing to challenge a fraudulent €404 million ($425 million) taxpayer-funded arbitration payout to tycoon Bernard Tapie over the sale of the Adidas brand. Despite the guilty verdict, the judges spared Lagarde from any prison sentence, fine, or criminal record.

We at @DevuanOrg said it in every possible way during the past twelve and more years: UEFI is a trap, adding complexity where its less needed. Same pattern as systemd. arstechnica.com/security/202…
The creator of CentOS and Rocky Linux built a new OS kernel with AI in just 11 days.
It’s called Ginux, and it can already run selected Linux programs without the Linux kernel underneath.
Gregory Kurtzer guided the design while Codex wrote and tested around 139,000 lines of code.
Written mainly in Rust, Ginux has its own memory management, scheduler and networking. It even boots Rocky Linux 10 with systemd in a virtual machine.
It’s still an experimental prototype, with incomplete compatibility and hardware support. The code is open source under Apache 2.0.
Eleven days to get this far. Now comes the harder part of making it reliable.
