jamais trocaria Paolo agora.
primeiro passo é contratar um técnico de verdade.
depois tentaria mudar Suggs e Wendell e colocar chutadores decentes ao redor do Paolo.

I wanna be optimistic. I really do. But I don’t see a scenario where we beat the Lakers tonight.

This is the same guy a lot of y’all put well below Sengun, Scottie, OG, Mobley, Randle, and other ridiculous names.
Idk how else to say this, I feel like a broken record…stretches like this are not new for Paolo.
He’s been doing this every year, as well as in the playoffs….and twitter + all these hot-take people continually act like he just gets “lucky.”
What you’re seeing are mere glimpses into a 23 year old’s *potential*….
Do not confuse potential with ceiling, because if this is what he’s capable of now, his ceiling is actually much higher.
For people to repeatedly see him do the things he’s doing and then proceed to either talk crazy about him or write him off entirely, is either insanity or willful ignorance imo.
I’m trying to be objective too… because I realize I’m a fan, not just of the Magic but of Paolo. It still doesn’t make sense to me purely from a basketball standpoint. The kid has talents & gifts that can take him FAR.
Talk about consistency issues all you want…. You basically just described what it means to be a young player in this league.
If you’re judging his play with the same scales you’re judging someone like Jaylen Brown (who is 29 years old), then idk what to tell you. The biggest issue for young players is consistency.
The fact of the matter is, nobody in a front office looks at Paolo Banchero’s skill sets, talent, & potential… and then looks the other way.
It’s only a matter of time before “post all-star break Paolo,” and “Playoff Paolo,”become “Full-time Paolo.”
When that happens, I’ll be too busy trying to convince my wife to uproot our whole family back to ORL (from South FL) to say “I told you so.”
