Feeling a little Chalmers about this
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

Excellent team here! Excited to see what comes next
Today we're launching @agent_relay Your team’s agents shouldn’t need YOU to copy-paste their conversations. Agent Relay lets them read each other’s sessions, ask questions, and hand off work across the tools your team already uses. Keep using the Codex mac app, Claude in the terminal or even tools like Conductor. Open source. Free to try our cloud. agentrelay.com

This should be illegal for people using @ChatGPT with @AmpCode 1. Tell your Dot to connect its computer to Amp using the Amp CLI That's it. Now you have an always-on agent that can drive work forward alongside you in Amp, for free What a time to be alive

This one hits
The evolution of going direct: Distribution was scarce, so the alpha was in building an audience Then every company started posting all the time, and attention became scarce Then attention became exploited with bait and slop, so now credibility is scarce And there are no shortcuts for credibility

Absolutely mind-boggling the response time from down => communicated clearly
We are aware that codex is down and are working hard to bring back normal service.

Feels weird to say "It can't hallucinate" Technically true, but it also can't give you a real answer? "This is 84.5% true" Cool?
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

You can't have agents managing their own memory system Slop compounds and corrupts We need to rethink how people do work and make decisions so agents can get solid context
I'm increasingly confused why people think "agent memory for enterprise/teams" is a real product category that makes any sense at all

Github is losing touch quickly While their core product melts down they're "launching" something that is, in their own words: - "neither a product nor a finished prototype" - "we don’t recommend you attempt to use it today" - "we'll be developing it more over the coming months" Not launching - "developing it more." Over MONTHS This product is already fully done and enterprise-ready by ref.tools Github, stop hitting yourself
A new project from GitHub Next! Chopin is a real-time, multiplayer agentic planning environment. Designed to get your whole team aligned on the plan before you hand it off to agents. We find our current agent planning tools feel cumbersome, static, lonely, and drown us in walls of text. We're exploring how we can make planning more interactive, shared, and visual 🖌️ It's currently an early prototype but we'll be developing it more over the coming months – and it's open source! githubnext.com/projects/chop…

To say the quiet part Anthropic wants to "double-leapfrog" OpenAI When Astra comes out this week, Anthropic can release their latest model that's maybe slightly better By then they will have been way ahead on the exponential growth curve to their next model The goal is to be 2 model versions ahead
Anthropic gatekeeping the next Fable is a crime against humanity

I see Opus 5 is writing Anthropic comms now
Starting September 14, we're permanently raising standard weekly limits in Claude Code by 25% for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans. Until then, the current 50% increase will be in place.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
While standard base limits are increasing by 25%, this change represents a net 17% reduction in weekly limits compared to the active 50% promotional limits users currently experience, as confirmed by the official Claude account: x.com/claudedevs/sta…

To say the quiet part: Cursor can launder OpenAI model tokens for distillation into Grok It's unclear whether they've been caught doing this or it's just an obvious next step
We unfortunately have decided that we cannot continue providing access to our models through Cursor and are ending our partnership. It boils down to trust and we’ve asked that this takes effect on November 12 to give you some time to plan. Many have used the GPT models through Cursor and here are options we know should work in the future: - We will continue to allow using your own OpenAI API key and similarly will continue to provide access through our IDE extensions for Cursor. - We will keep working with the broadest range of tools and harnesses, some of which are OSS, but also many many closed-source ones. We are as committed as ever to continue supporting developers and the flourishing ecosystem of tools, harnesses and products. We will also continue to invest in our own open-source initiatives and believe in broad optionality for developers. You can read more about our decision in the blog: openai.com/index/our-decisio…
