🚀 MCP Playground Desktop is here! If you build MCP servers, you know the drill: write a tool, connect a client, and figure out why the model isn’t calling it. 🧪 Tester — Connect local stdio or localhost servers, call any tool manually, and inspect the raw JSON-RPC for every call. 🤖 Agent Studio — Test your tools with 80+ AI models and see which tools they call, what arguments they pass, and how they behave. ☁️ Remote MCP Server Library — Save and manage 100+ MCP servers, then connect them with AI models to explore tools and build powerful AI workflows. 💻 Local + Remote — Test local servers without deploying them, or work with remote MCP servers from one place. Available for macOS and Windows 👉 Get started: mcpplaygroundonline.com/loca… #MCP #ModelContextProtocol #AIAgents #DeveloperTools #AIEngineering #BuildInPublic

MCP is giving AI assistants a standard way to connect with tools and data. Less copy-paste, more useful workflows—while keeping integrations modular. That’s a shift worth watching. #MCP

An MCP tool can “work” and still break your agent. Debug these 4 layers separately: 1. Tool schema 2. Generated arguments 3. Raw server response 4. Latency and timeouts When a call fails, replay the exact arguments before rewriting the prompt. Save this checklist. #MCP #DevTools #AIagents #AgenticAI #LLM #AgenticAI #Debugging #TechTips #AIengineering #ModelContextProtocol

"Just connect your AI to your database" sounds simple until you try it. The official Postgres MCP server is one of the most-used MCP servers. But it's local-only: npx, a connection string in a JSON config, one client, one model. And you're never quite sure what SQL the model is running. On MCP Playground you can run it hosted: → Paste a Postgres URL (Supabase, Neon, RDS or your own) and get a live MCP server in under a minute → It's read-only by design: every query is wrapped in BEGIN/ROLLBACK and writes are rejected → Ask questions in plain English with Claude, GPT, Gemini or 60+ other models → See every SQL query the model writes, and what came back, before you trust the answer → Compare models side by side to find out which one writes correct SQL against your schema, not just plausible SQL Try asking: • "Which 10 customers spent the most last month?" • "Find tables with no primary key or no indexes." • "This query is slow. Look at the schema and tell me why." No install, no config file, no local process. The same works for MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, SQL Server and more. mcpplaygroundonline.com/mcp-… #MCP #AIAgent #AI @PostgreSQL #HostedMCP #PostgresMCP #DeveloperTools

4/ Hosted on MCP Playground: ✅ Real headless Chrome in a disposable, isolated sandbox ✅ Fresh profile every session, never your cookies ✅ 30 tools, nothing to install ✅ Live HTTPS URL + bearer token for Claude, Cursor, VS Code or your own agent

3/ The catch with running it locally: it launches or attaches to Chrome on your machine. That means your agent can see every page you're logged into: email, admin panels, banking.

2/ What it can do: ⚡ Record a performance trace and name what's blocking LCP 🌐 List network requests: failed, slow, render-blocking 🐞 Read console errors with source-mapped stack traces 🔦 Run a full Lighthouse audit 🖱️ Click, fill forms, screenshot, emulate slow CPU/network

1/ Google's Chrome DevTools MCP is one of the most useful MCP servers out right now. Your agent stops guessing why a page is slow and actually measures it. 🧵

Chrome DevTools MCP lets your agent debug a live page: perf traces, network, console errors, Lighthouse. Run it hosted instead of locally: → 30 tools, live URL in one click → no Chrome to install → isolated sandbox, never your logged-in profile mcpplaygroundonline.com/mcp-…

AI agents are getting better at working with payment systems. But connecting an agent to payments isn't just an integration problem — it's a question of control, permissions, and risk. We compared three Payments MCP servers: Stripe, PayPal, and Lago. Here's what stands out: 🔹 Stripe MCP - Server-side human approval for refunds and outbound payments. 🔹 PayPal MCP - 40+ tools covering invoices, payments, disputes, subscriptions, and reporting, plus a dedicated sandbox. 🔹 Lago MCP - An open-source billing option for teams that want to self-host and control their billing infrastructure. The biggest opportunity isn't letting AI move money autonomously. It's using agents to investigate failed payments, answer revenue questions, gather dispute evidence, and prepare invoice reminders while keeping humans in control of consequential actions. The guide also covers permission boundaries, prompt injection risks, and an important upcoming Stripe API-key change. If you're building AI agents for fintech, billing, or customer support, this comparison is worth bookmarking. Read the full guide: mcpplaygroundonline.com/blog… #MCP #AI #Fintech #Payments #AIAgents

Should your MCP server still support the 2025-11-25 spec? The part people get backwards: dropping legacy doesn't break new clients. It breaks old ones. → v2 clients try server/discover, then fall back to initialize. They work with any server. → 2025-era clients only know initialize. A modern-only server rejects them with -32022, and they silently stop connecting. Q4 2026 checklist: 1. Serve both eras from one URL 2. Log the era of every request 3. Return era-correct error codes 4. Forward Mcp-Method / Mcp-Name through proxies 5. Remove session assumptions 6. Add ttlMs / cacheScope hints 7. Plan off Roots, Sampling, Logging before July 2027 8. Test both eras every release Drop legacy when your traffic says so, not the calendar. mcpplaygroundonline.com/blog… #MCP #ModelContextProtocol #AIAgents #DevTools

How to 12x your MRR in 1 minute: 1. Triple the pricing 2. Reduce usage by 50% 3. Add no extra value 4. Repeat next year @beehiiv keeps increasing its prices every year. As a customer, I feel ripped off. So I'm churning. What's the best alternative?

Shipping an MCP server? Test these 5 things before anyone else connects to it: Tool descriptions: can a model actually pick the right tool from them? 1. Input schemas: do bad args fail cleanly? 2. Auth: does it reject what it should? 3. Token cost: how big is your tool list in context? 4. Model spread: does it work beyond one LLM? You can do all 5 in the browser, no install: mcpplaygroundonline.com #MCP #ModelContextProtocol #AIAgents #LLM #DevTools

MCP tools are becoming an important building block for AI agents. 🤖 Instead of keeping AI isolated from the real world, MCP gives models a standardized way to discover and interact with tools, data, and external systems. Why it matters: • Better interoperability • Reusable tool integrations • Easier agent development • Less custom glue code • A more connected AI ecosystem The future of AI isn’t just smarter models, it’s models that can reliably use tools and take action. #AI #MCP #ModelContextProtocol #AIAgents #LLM #Developers
