If women were naturally faster runners than men, there would never, ever have been a debate or a word about it. It simply wouldn't have been a thing. Like when they wrote the GRA, they put in a clause to stop women identifying as men to gain a hereditary peerage or title.

Not much about the role of low wages in this admittedly pretty shocking set of statistics.

🚌 Bus and tram workers are facing an alarming rise in abuse, threats and violence while simply carrying out their jobs. @GOVUK's latest proposals may be well-intentioned, but they simply do not go far enough. Our bus and tram workers deserve more than words and promises. They deserve real, meaningful protection, stronger action and the right to go to work without fear of abuse or violence. ✒️ actionnetwork.org/forms/bus-…

I saw one terrifying account from young people without jobs who couldnt get to work because buses would not drive through a certain area of their town because it was too dangerous.

Who wants to become a debt slave by taking on a leasehold flat? The government is keen to lure desperate young people in with its “Your First Home” scheme, while developers dangle £40,000 towards private school fees. How to break democracy.

Labour and the Conservatives are a uniparty on housing. Far too close to developer donor cartels, and far too distant from the median voter, who sees cruelty and corruption in the policies being pushed through. As Ed Miliband once put it: strong when standing up to the weak, but always weak when standing up to the strong.
£40,000 towards private school fees. In exchange, a lifetime as a leasehold serf. No wonder developers and politicians are so despised.

If Britain just used its natural renewable resources properly we could be one of the most energy-secure countries in Europe. Instead, we have left ourselves entirely exposed to US/Israeli aggression in the Middle East…. because green energy is woke, or something.

So true. They clearly do this on purpose, to steal your money.
Hah! I went through this at the weekend, cancelling a couple of subscriptions for stuff I don't want or need any more, and it took so long to go through the cancellation process I almost gave up! This needs to be law in the UK as well. Want to cancel? Click. Cancelled. The end.
