In a stunning piece published by the head of one of Israel's most prominent think tanks, Maj. Gen. Tamir Hayman describes the reality of Israel's new security doctrine:
A few crucial principles he describes:
1. The United States is a “declining power” and, given its ongoing social and political shifts, will soon abandon Israel in any event. This is compelling Israel to move toward greater self-reliance in order to avoid "excessive dependence" on the US since it "exposes Israel to the influence of a progressive American value system that is incompatible with Israel's Jewish character."
Then he concludes: "Severing ties with the United States is therefore not only inevitable, but essential to Israel’s independence and the resilience of its Jewish national identity."

Canada and France are expected to announce Tuesday a ban on importing products from Israeli West Bank settlements alongside Britain.
France decided to join the expected British statement after a joint Franco-Swedish effort to sanction settlement products in the European Union stalled.
The decision is also tied to the publication of a tender for the construction of 1,200 housing units in the E1 area, an area of the West Bank where Israeli plans could divide Palestinian territory.
British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband is expected to announce in the House of Commons a ban on trade with the settlements, according to sources familiar with the details who spoke with Haaretz | @lizarozovsky

Roni Kaplan, ex portavoz de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel para América Latina, lleva años justificando la invasion sobre Gaza, las decenas de miles de muertos palestinos y el bloqueo de la ayuda humanitaria.
Ahora llega a Colombia como rostro visible de una misión que dice venir a salvar vidas, cinco días después del terremoto.
La ayuda es bienvenida, pero resulta imposible ignorar la contradicción. Y también la operación de propaganda y las nuevas alianzas del gobierno colombiano.

Jewish terrorists lay siege to Palestinian homes with families inside. They don't allow water, food or medicine to be brought to the houses. A little girl in one house is in need of medical treatment, the terrorists and occupation forces block an ambulance and doctors from going in.
The terrorists are Jewish and the victims are Palestinian, so of course the troops force the families to leave their home rather than arrest the criminals.
Ethnic cleansing and apartheid routine.
