We endorse the announcement by @vonderleyen re-elected President of @EU_Commission to propose a new #CircularEconomy Act in the next mandate.
This aligns with our two key policy priorities for the next legislative term 2024-2029:

We’re pleased that @Europarl_EN has formally approved the Trilogue agreement on the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (#PPWR) today.
We are now on the final stretch as we look ahead to its publication and entry into force this Autumn.

#PPWR text may be agreed, but @EU_Commission needs to iron out some key concepts in Delegated Acts, such as on packaging recyclability performance grades. To establish this, it is critical to promote materials that are already being recycled at scale in most Member States.
