repost from @lordrarerock RONNIE JAMES DIO - Few voices in the annals of music could summon the fury of the underworld itself, but Ronnie James Dio’s was one of them. A titan of heavy metal despite his diminutive stature, Dio’s otherworldly voice and boundless heart reshaped the genre forever. As the frontman of his eponymous band, Dio, and a vital contributor to legendary acts like Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and Elf, he left a legacy that remains unmatched. Though he passed too soon at the age of 67 in 2010, Dio’s impact still reverberates through the metal world. His soaring vocals, immortalized in anthems like “Holy Diver” and “Rainbow in the Dark,” are the stuff of legend. Thirteen years later, we continue to celebrate the man who brought thunder to the stage and fire to our souls a voice for the ages, forever remembered. 1. “Heaven And Hell” 2. “Stargazer” 3. “Rainbow In The Dark” 4. “Holy Diver” 5. “Pick of Destiny” LIVE in the studio with Jack Black 6. “Don’t Talk To Strangers” 7. “Last In The Line” 8. “War Pigs” with Black Sabbath iiii]; )' instagram.com/share/p/BAM2Nd…
