It is raining. Bloody marvellous. Not something I thought I would say on the West coast but my water supply is saved.😀

The soundtrack for today was ride of the Valkeries with a support act from our royal tourists. Helicopter central as the poles for our new power line were delivered and the royal departed.

Return of the sun. Peacock butterflies on the wing, bees flying bringing in lots of pollen, sparrows shagging as they prepare for a second brood and lots of flowers and blossom. Downside campervans. Four out of five ain't bad . Sorry Meatloaf.

Time to muck out the spare bedroom and wash some towels as Prince William and his lovely wife are visiting this pile of rocks in NE Jockistan . I can hardly wait.

We have a cuckoo which is a welcome sign of the return of the sun but after a couple of weeks of it giving it laldy outside the bedroom window I suspect I will be wishing it Godspeed on its return flight to the dark continent
