In the @financialpost, CEO @EliotPence and VP of Maritime Programs Matt Clancey argue that Canada’s first tender for an autonomous vessel is a chance to control the technology that will define the @RoyalCanNavy's future.
Dominion, alongside partners @OSIMaritime, @abco_inc, and @kongsbergasa, has submitted a proposal to build the Navy's first operational uncrewed surface vessel. We believe that the autonomy and command and control architecture that connects the fleet must stay in Canadian hands, and we’re ready to build it.

The scale of what Canada is building is hard to overstate:
--Churchill Falls = roughly 9 nuclear reactors worth of clean power.
--Pacific Link = an oil export route approaching the consumption of the entire UK.
--LNG Canada Phase 2 = enough gas to equal roughly half of Canada’s domestic consumption.
Churchill Falls: The largest clean energy investment in North American history. Pacific Link: A pipeline to the West Coast that will unlock new markets. LNG Canada Phase 2: The second-largest LNG facility of its kind in the world.

In Latvia this week, I sat down with Canadian soldiers serving with Task Force Latvia and our NATO allies to discuss what they need and how industry can help.
There’s a lot to be proud of in the people we have serving overseas. Their professionalism and commitment stay with you.
I also came away encouraged by their willingness to share problems, engage with builders and technologists, and move quickly. That openness hasn’t always been my experience.
The urgency we hear from our Prime Minister and senior military leaders seems to be taking hold on the ground.
Industry has been ready to move. There’s now a real opportunity to move together and get our troops the capabilities they need.
