What Canadians and MSM are not discussing is this new emissions reduction plan for autos. Instead of using sales targets to force change they will now use emission targets to force change to evs. Current requirements of 175 grms / mile will be reduced to just 74 grms/ mile. That's a whopping 230% decrease in tailpipe emissions? Totally ridiculous target forcing the end to ICE vehicles in Canada. The US is going to loose 780,000 new car sales in Canada due to this mandate. Canada will loose its auto industry totally reliant of foreign ev makers like China!
Let's cut through all the bullshit and deflection. This new ev mandate that came out in Feb 26 is why there is no deal. Carney and his friutcake net zero policies is what's really behind this trade dispute!
I thought the ev mandate was postponed. In fact with a little research, I found that the real change was from sales targets to tailpipe emission targets. Clever bastard this Carney. Ramming his net zero policies down Canadian throats without any mandate to do such a thing. Very little discussion during the election about climate policy! All the discussions came down to who can get a deal done with Trump!
This is dishonest politics it's its worse!
What was actually in the final version of the deal?
What were the specific provisions that led to its collapse?
Sources in this article contradict what Carney.
There is one way to clear all this up: RELEASE THE DEAL!!!
Let Canadians judge for themselves. After all, political pundits and government officials won’t pay the price. It is the Canadian worker and taxpayer who will.
They have a right to know.

I'm pretty sure if a conservative had done this the media would be on a full court press. Why haven't they asked the obvious questions? #cdnmedia
Leave it to liberals who will now decide when it's time we die. Regardless of the personal circumstances? Maybe that DNR order decicision we make was only a worse case outcome, not really expected. It's my decision not some stranger who doesn't know my particular circumstances. Maybe I still need another month to wrap up my affairs the way I want them? I can still work even if bedridden, with modern tech there is a lot I could still do. But having someone decide my quality of life is not acceptable compared to the costs to keep me alive??? Only liberals could be this arrogant and cold hearted!
BREAKING: M.A.I.D. now part of DNR Orders(Do Not Resusitate) with Bill C-41...
Massive outrage as Canada’s highly controversial medical updates spark absolute horror over patient safeguards. Critics are calling it an unhinged dystopia after proposals emerged that could blur the lines between standard medical care and state-sponsored life-ending procedures.
Under the guise of "advanced directives," critics warn the system is opening a terrifying backdoor that effectively lets medical institutions decide if and when to end a citizen's life. Slipping lethal execution protocols into a patient’s medical chart—collapsing the line between a standard Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order and an active push for medical assistance in dying (MAID)—is a localized death sentence.
Giving hospitals the bureaucratic authority to decide when someone's "quality of life" has expired is an unspeakable violation of human rights. Bill C-41 is turning hospitals from places of healing into execution chambers. This is absolute insanity.

One U.S. state now out-produces ALL of Canada. 😳
Texas, 2025: $2.93 trillion
Canada, 2025: $2.32 trillion
(U.S. dollars)
Texas: about 32 million people.
Canada: nearly 42 million.
Per person: roughly $92,500 in Texas. $55,800 here.
Same oil. Same gas. Same lumber and minerals.
Different policies.
March 2025, Carney said our economy is "stronger than the American economy… in the medium term."
This year's PBO forecast: Canada 0.9% growth. U.S. 2.2%.
110,000 jobs lost in August and September.
Canadians can compete with anyone. Ottawa keeps tying our hands. 🤦🏻♂️
Time to catch up, eh? 🇨🇦
Tired of liberals claiming Carney has any political experience. The man never held office prior to becoming PM. His background running the bank of Canada and England was not a political position. Zero authority to talk to foreign politicians. Not an elected position. The only marginal experience was when Harper invited him to sit in the G7&G20 meetings during the 2008 financial crisis.
As govenor of these banks he dealt with the finance ministers mainly and big business, an other world bankers. Not foreign politicians.
He has no experience in foreign affairs. He's learning as he goes. Just like Trudeau, both made fools of themselves.
The US thinks Canadian politicians are a joke. China makes a deal to get evs exported to Canada then turns around and slaps a tariff on pea starch exports. Carneys response, nothing. Just got slapped in the face and doesn't even know it. Canada exports 20 billion to China but imports 45 billion!

Commons industry committee was told May 4 that Chinese autos retailing for $35,000 are manufactured by autoworkers paid as little as $3 an hour. A 2024 Human Rights Watch report said aluminum processed by Muslim Uyghur slave labour in China’s Xinjiang Province was used by automakers.

Former UK PM Lizz Truss says unelected central bankers wield more power than democratically elected world leaders.
She attributes the pound's "massive inflation" and devaluation to money printing by the Bank of England, which she describes as "completely unaccountable".
"The Bank of England governor can't be sacked, as I found out, but the prime minister can be."
"Why do you think young people can't get on the housing ladder? Again, it's because of the actions of this organisation, and yet nobody will hold them to account."
Totally disappointed in the Canadian dental program. As it turns out coverage sucks. 3 requests for crowns were rejected which I have fixed 2 (front teeth) at $2700. Most dental appointments only cover about 50% of the cost. When I retired I started putting $300 per month into an account to cover my dental expenses. Was working well. Then when I joined the gov plan I stopped due to the published coverage %'s. Didn't look like I needed more coverage. As it turns out the fee schedules are a bad joke. On top of that I have been fighting Cancer for 3 years and my teeth have become an issue. When I need it most the gov plan is failing me. Should have known better. Any Liberal plan has more holes than a fishing net.

I got my message across, but listening to the 3 "experts" from Quebec tell viewers how Albert can't succeed without Canada was almost more than I could stomach.
The Laurentian elite are really threatened by us, and they will do anything to get us to fail.
Alberta independence is the only path forward.
How can Carney ever make a deal with the USA when he makes comments like this. Can't trust if the USA will keep it? Then why in the hell is he bothering. This puts the whole relationship with the USA as suspect. Will they defend Canada if Russia takes over the Arctic? If we buy the F35 will they use the kill switch on data, leaving our fighters blind? If we can't trust them on trade it's insinuated we can trust them on nothing? Trust is trust, not limited to one subject. Carney is out to destroy the US / Canada relationship. He's doing more damage to the west than China or Russia combined.

Carney promised to double homebuilding to almost 500,000 a year.
September's pace? Half, maybe..
Actual starts down 11% from last year.
Toronto down 61%. 3,678 homes started last September. 1,440 this year.
And his own housing agency? About 2,000 actually being built.
Your kids are still in the basement 🤦🏻♂️
Check the blueprints, eh? 🇨🇦
Carneys empty threats on US military equipment has become a running joke. Time to resource both the Blackhawks and the F35s. Until we show we are serious the states will ignore these empty threats. Still lots of other military hardware on the table like HIMARS artillery systems, Reaper drones, and Patriot missle batteries, amoured fighting vehicles like the Bradley, mobile artillery, tanks, and more.

The Liberals have always been a tax and spend party. They have raised taxes over their now 11 year tenure by 72% annually. They simply cannot spend enough of other peoples money.
I just have no idea of what it takes for the lemming Liberal voter to recognize that the tax payer is just the lowest paid government worker with no benefits.

🚨 Two budget watchdogs. Same warning. Part 2 🚨
Sept 2025. Interim PBO Jason Jacques at committee: "If you don't change, this is done."
Then came Carney's first budget. Jacques' verdict:
"The Government's new anchor is unlikely to hold."
The odds it holds? 7.5%.
He found $94 billion counted as "investment" that doesn't meet the PBO's own definition. He called it "a made-in-Ottawa definition of capital."
And the debt anchor Carney confirmed in September? "Abandoned six weeks later."
His term ran out. Annette Ryan got the permanent job.
Oct 2026. New watchdog. Same story.
Interest on the debt: about $25B a year five years ago. $59B now. More than the Canada Health Transfer for the first time. Headed to $83B.
"The fastest growing piece of government spending right now."
$333B in new deficits over five years. $733B in new borrowing.
$400B going to Crown corps, loans and special funds "just a step removed from parliamentary oversight."
And those fiscal anchors? "More like traffic lights."
Two watchdogs. Two years. Same message.
Stop spending like the bill never comes 🤦🏻♂️

When hard working Canadians owe money to the government, Revenue Canada seizes assets, pursues them in court, and garnishes wages.
When Liberal insiders pocket millions thanks to their connections, Carney basically tells them to keep the change.

Maybe its time to encourage Canadian kids into nursing with free tuition. Spending millions recruiting foreigners has been a total failure. Learn the lesson. Open up more spots for Canadian kids in universities rather than foreign students where 50% or more just leave once trained. Data from Statistics Canada indicates that international students make up about 7.5% of all graduates across health and related programs. When running a 12% shortage in graduates this is significant.
"Canada continues to struggle with a shortage of nurses despite federal efforts to recruit foreign-trained health care workers, with vacancy rates for licensed practical nurses remaining five times higher than they were nearly a decade ago.
Blacklock's Reporter says new Statistics Canada figures show the job vacancy rate for licensed practical nurses stood at 12% in 2025, compared with 2.5% in 2016.
The findings were published in Canada’s Health Workforce: An Integrated Summary Based On Statistics Canada Data, which examined employment trends and labour shortages across the health care sector.
“Vacancy rates remained highest among licensed practical nurses at 12% in 2025,” the report stated. “This was down from a peak of 19% in 2023, but five times higher than the rate in 2016, 2.5%.”" @WesternStandard @mindingottawa
