Standing with Miker Rogers is a betrayal of everything Haley Stevens has fought for her entire career. It's also a betrayal of all of her supporters that believed in her. I hope @AbdulElSayed has a strong victory on Tuesday and that all Democrats and like-minded independents support vote for him.

++ y’all call him the names you should be calling the shitbags. And it’s evident you do that because YOU KNOW HE IS NOT GOING TO TURN AROUND AND CALL YOU A DUMB BITCH like the shitbags would.
It’s scary how you behave when you are not scared…. Almost like you were a shitty man.

The amount of hypocrisy I see in some mutuals here is astounding. I have seen y’all sit and engage and tolerate absolute shitbags in the name of having discourse but when someone who you can clearly see is not an asshole but has different take and engages respectfully +++
People are in denial.
They literally think they will wake up tomorrow and all the AI-generated code will somehow be useless, and we'll go back to typing code by hand like Neanderthals.

Waiting to see what the ppl posting this kind of jibberish will say in a few months when reality hits, bubble deflates, cost goes up, no agi anywhere, and your codebases are so full of vibe coded cr@p they're basically irrepairable.

A message for Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
If you can’t respect
humans and human rights, then perhaps Saudi shouldn't be importing millions from all over the world, to help running your country!
Let Saudis run Saudi Arabia with your barbaric laws!

Islamophobic!!!!
That word is becoming a joke with some people. Not wanting people to be killed by the state for words is Islamophobic… then bhai we should all be Islamophobic.

I never criticized Saudi Arabia you illiterate.
You are trying to convert everyone to Salafi Islam while undermining the theological foundations of Christianity, our civilizational religion.
If your project is successful, it will end up with Canada having these hudud laws, including putting people to death for thought crimes, as is the case in Saudi, or Libya, your homeland.
You are a parasite in our civilization, you have no place here.
By the way, Christians don't derive their law by strictly following the Hebrew Bible out of context, and as far as I know, not a single person has been executed for blasphemy in America's history as an independent nation.
I don't care about Canadian history, but I am sure that holds true for the country you are unfortunately a resident of.
If America & Canada applied biblical law, they would punish heretics and apostates per Deuteronomy 13.
But the United States and Canada are secular nations and they don’t apply any religious law.
Canada is a great country that allows Muslims to practice their faith peacefully and doesn’t impose any harm on them. The Quran says to abide by contracts, and so because of that, I obey the laws of the land that I am in and am a good citizen of my country.
However you Shargzadeh, are criticizing a state for carrying out its constitution! Saudi Arabia has the right to punish any foreigner on its soil that breaks its laws! The Hindu broke the law, therefore the Hindu is punished.

Zohran Mamdani: “I believe there must be room to mourn every single life. There must be room to mourn the lives of the more than 1,100 Israelis that Hamas killed three years ago. There must be room to mourn the 74K Palestinians the Israeli government had killed since. What I so appreciated about being at the vigil yesterday evening, as I had been the year before, is that it was a vigil that brought together New Yorkers to read testimonies of their own family members, of others who’ve been killed either on the day or in the genocide since and ends with a shared vision for peace and for an end to the genocide”

After spending much of last night disagreeing with Neera at Georgetown for @AJHeadtoHead, I actually agree with her on this. It’s literally insane to be, right now, protesting Mamdani - and not Trump, or Rubio or Vance or the Israeli ambassador - over the Gaza genocide.

Telling Zohran Mamdani that "we charge you with genocide" is a good way to render the designation meaningless (and signal that you are a fucking moron)

We evolved from single cells. Either they are conscious, or at some point along the evolutionary line the lights “switched on” and a pure automaton gave rise to a conscious being, or consciousness does not actually exist. All are mind-bending, but there is no fourth option.

Puhleeze. This shit has zero meaning for a Pakistani. He can get into such deep semantics over the Indian constitution and in the same breath defend Iqbal and Jinnah. I don’t support anyone’s being in jail for speech. He should be allowed to be an idiot. Nobody can or should police stupidity.

Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR.
We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use.
