It's been the busiest year yet, and one of the most climate-anxiety-inducing ones. My hypothyroidism hasn't helped either as the fatigue and weight gain have been a lot. I’m bracing for the last quarter, holding out hope for better days ahead. Through it all, I’m happy. ☁️☁️☁️

For those who have been waiting for an update, NiΓ±o 3.4 sea-surface temperatures have been treading water at daily record "super El NiΓ±o" levels (β‰ˆ2.6Β°C above the 1991-2020 baseline) for most of August. The El NiΓ±o peak in the latest CFSv2 model run is now about 4.1Β°C.
