That’s a wrap! Closed the 3 day event with assessment. It was a great experience. My top takeaways are; the banner, how to split the deck, taking notes on the whiteboard, and how to actually use the mild, medium, spicy questions. Thanks @pgliljedahl!
That’s a wrap for day 2! One more morning to go with @pgliljedahl tomorrow. Looking forward to diving into assessment.
It’s actually happening! The energy in this room is amazing! @ocdsb #buildingthinkingclassroom @pgliljedahl

Back to Ott and back to work this week. Time to explore #MathUp Grade 9 for some end of summer learning with @msbishop14. Later in the week looking forward to learning about reframing grade 10 for a destreamed class with @MccSio & @MathPhan. 🧹 🕸 🧹
Our first in person math session was a success and super fun to be back at it with my partner @chevymath working with @ETFO_OCEOTA educators.

We learned more strategies in session 2 of the Thinking Classrooms. I combined a few: random grouping, vertical whiteboards (students standing), and verbal visual problem instead of textbook questions. Lots of thinking fun happened. @msbishop14 @pgliljedahl @WEJPS
