i’m real big on communication. if something changed, you could’ve talked to me. if you felt different, you could’ve told me that. i would’ve respected the truth way more than watching your effort change while you acted like everything was normal.
i honestly think the most beautiful kind of love is when someone is sure about you, no mixed signals, no confusion, just consistency, effort, and a feeling that they truly want you in their life.
normalize giving up on people. no more seeing the best in them, no more excusing their behavior. accept them as they are and reject them. If they wanted to appreciate you, they would have already.

Adulting advice? Take yourself on dates, go to new places and allow yourself to do all the things you really want to do. Don't wait for someone else to give you permission. Do whatever makes you happy. The days aren't coming back.

That breakup probably saved you. That friendship ended for a reason. That person leaving forced you to grow in ways you wouldn’t have otherwise. Trust me, you’re going to be okay.
