In 2025, we 5.5x'd ARR at @unifygtm and scaled from 20 to 80 people.
I've posted about a lot of what got us here. But there's one thing I've rarely talked about publicly.
Around 25 people, everything started to change:
(1) Not everyone could report to the founders anymore
(2) We had to build a real leadership team
(3) I had to learn to motivate people who don’t operate like me
All of this while the company was scaling rapidly.
I'd considered coaching before, but never found one I could really learn from.
Then I found a coach through @TitanCoaches.
He’s a former founder in my space who has done this before.
And he’s the first person I call for the hardest problems.
It's hard to imagine what 2025 would have looked like without him.
@aj_goldstein and @TheMcGibbon recently came by to film - and we reflected on Unify’s journey over the past year and the impact coaching has had on me.
