Thirty million people have already voted, either early or by mail. This election won’t be decided by the loudest accounts on here. It’ll be decided by who did the boring, back-breaking work of turning out their people. Organization beats outrage every time.

Buy your tickets now. All proceeds will go to the foie gras defense fund.
The fight over D.C.'s proposed foie gras ban is heating up ahead of the vote. Outside money. Duck mascots. A chef with Trump-world ties plotting a protest tasting menu — and possibly a legal battle Inside the battle over D.C.'s most divisive delicacy. axios.com/local/washington-d…

Microplastic harm maximalists will need to explain Japan, because the Japanese love wrapping everything in plastic and they're looking good.

Our response to @ElissaSlotkin's threat to conservative staffers: “We are going to help them get jobs, we are going to put them to work, and if anyone comes after them—they’ll have a fight on their hands.”

can you imagine if a mayonnaise company also owned a hot sauce? chilling
Hellmann's mayo McCormick spices Cholula hot sauce Frank's RedHot What do these products have in common? One company could soon control them all. I have concerns that McCormick and Unilever's $45 billion merger could increase YOUR grocery prices.

I remember when I would get seasonal depression in OC because it was cloudy just for most of the morning for several days in a row. Like it was always sunny in the afternoon but I had to wait for it and that would put me in an extended foul mood for days
Imagine having 350+ days of comfortable weather every year.

Good to see a school that would have, in the past, ignored their right-wing alumni’s success instead embrace and celebrate them.
Congratulations to Pepperdine alumna @KatieZacharia on her appointment as White House press secretary! A graduate of Seaver College and @PeppLaw, Katie exemplifies Pepperdine's commitment to preparing students for exceptional lives of purpose, service, and leadership. Reminds me of the time I took my baby to the BOARD BOOK section of the library which is dedicated to children who cannot even read and these were the first four books I pulled out of the bins
My kindergartener went to the school library for the first time at school yesterday and the book he checked out is about the importance of the first day wearing your hijab. He said he thought it was a book about an adventure on the ocean.

It’s funny it gave me what looks like MacArthur tartan (the family I married into) even though i don’t know if it knew that about me. I’m definitely not from the MacArthur clan and don’t even have a definitive Scottish heritage

We need to discuss the Chick Fil A high chairs Whoever made Chick Fil A such a family friendly establishment deserves a raise. Nothing quite like a high chair on wheels. Was very compelled to order ice cream after we ate bc we literally just PUSHED the baby over there. Did not have to take him out. Nothing more annoying than having to take baby in and out of a high chair. They also look actually comfortable and baby seemed to think so to. He sat in it for like 30 mins straight(and I have a very mobile baby who doesn’t like sitting still) 10/10.
