quick tip to anyone working on their first peer-reviewed article: the literature review is still part of the argument, not an autonomous part of the paper. Every sentence in the lit review needs to be a nod, acknowledgement, or very brief summary that builds *your* argument.

Cause of death remains a weakness in Americans' understanding. So many people think it's accounting trick, or people who were dying anyway. This may be more effective than showing #COVID19 deaths (through early October).

The weirdest part of living through the #COVID19 pandemic is this strange mixture of normalcy and emergency that we’re all experiencing. I constantly feel like I’m either over- or underreacting, or really both at the exact same time. It’s surreal.
