Let's talk about the complete overhaul of the Ndebe Script number system. #NdebeScript First of all thank you to @eldivine for his immediate commentary that the number system needed work. I realised the numbers didn’t really match the goals of the rest of the script.

Now for a bigger number. #NdebeScript How do you write 114,123 in Igbo using Ndebe Script? For the last three numbers, we have been dealing with the place values 400, 20, and Units (0-19) Now, as the number is greater than 8000, we have to involve the place value 8000.

To write 114,123 in Ndebe Script, we do this: 114,123 divided by 8000 is 14 remainder 2123 14 goes in the 8k place 2123 divided by 400 is 5 remainder 123 5 goes in the 400 place 123 divided by 20 is 6 remainder 3 6 goes in the 20 place 3 units remain. See the image below
