Il candidato di sinistra El-Sayed ha quasi sicuramente vinto le primarie in Michigan, ma con un risultato estremamente deludente rispetto a quello che si pensava e che lui stesso aveva alimentato rilasciando sondaggi interni. Non parte molto bene per le elezioni di novembre.
